Bergo tiles are a contemporary and sustainable alternative to other traditional materials. This stylish range of Swedish recyclable floor tiles are suitable for a wide variety of outdoor spaces.
What are they?
How do I fit them?
Bergo tiles are made from injection moulded polypropylene, which offer high durability as well as being 100% recyclable.
This has to be the simplest installation in DIY flooring. Just take a rubber mallet and tap the tiles together it’s child’s play! There is no need to fix the tiles down and they can be laid over any hard surface. Edges & Corners are available and the tiles can be cut to fit around any awkward shapes using a jigsaw or hacksaw.
How do they work? The interlocking design creates a suspended floor. The unique construction & perforated designs allow for excellent drainage ensuring the walking surface dries quickly after rain as well has offering great slip resistance.
UV Stable UV stability means that they retain their original colours, even after many years of direct sunlight.
Maintenance? It’s minimal! With no need for periodic staining or treatments, your Bergo floor may need an occasional wash down with a hose but that is all that is required. Heavy mud may need the application of soapy water and a brush. Leaves just blow off the surface or can be swept up as normal. With this flooring you can add to it, reconfigure it and even take it with you if you move house!
Accessories & Tools For the finishing touches there are bevelled Edges to eliminate trip hazards and outer Corners for the complete finish. Should you want your new floor to only be a temporary feature, it is very simple to dismantle and store away . To replace a damaged tile, use the appropriate Tool detailed below.
