The Brief: To create a design concept for the refurbishment of Abbotts, a national chain of estate agents.

The refurbishments will include a replan of the existing spaces with the aim of improving the efficiency of the work space for the employee as well as improving the overall customer experience.

Particular attention will be given to improving kerb appeal from the street level, incorporating the brand values in to the design and upgrading the property displays. New ways of working for both the employee and the client will be explored...

Established in 1850, Abbotts enjoy a highly respected position in the property market. The core values which lie at the heart of Abbotts branding are expertise,local knowledge & longevity.

The design needs to reflect these qualities, allowing a relaxed, informative and positive customer experience.

Abbotts branding in the palette: Birch trees & wood effect vinyl convey longevity and prominent positioning in the property market.

The sobering dark blues & strong linear stripes in the flooring, convey a feeling of groundedness and trust through which the customer can experience the expertise & knowledge of Abbotts core brand values.

The injection of bright yellow keeps the design fresh and alive whilst adding kerb appeal.
