Fundamentals of Plate Heat Exchanger Design Heat exchangers are industrial tools & are the components that allow the transfer of heat from one fluid (liquid or gas) to another fluid. Example: • • •

From hot water to cold water. From hot steam & gas to cold water. From hot water & steam to cool air.

Plate Heat Exchanger: • • • • •

A plate heat exchanger is designed up of plates rather of tubes to separate the hot and cold fluids. The hot and cold fluids alternative in between each of the plates. Baffles direct the flow of liquid between plates. Because every plate has an extremely huge surface area; the plates give all of the fluids with a highly large heat transfer area. For that reason a plate heat exchanger, as in comparison to a equally sized tube and shell heat exchanger, is able of exchange ring much more heat. This is caused by the larger area the plates give over tubes.

“T.D. Rooke Associates” is the well-known heat exchanger distributor in Canada. Here all heat exchangers are distinctly created and designed to manage tough heat transfer applications. We offer all kinds of heat exchangers which can be used in the current market like commercial, residential, personal and industrial.
