We just love Rusty females, they have been some of our best producing cows. We have tried for years to make the perfect Rusty bull and we have made some good ones, but this one is special. We really admire how this bull profiles, enormous volume, heavy hip, fullness in the flank – qualities you will not find every day. Born in mid-February and pictured here at only 10 months of age, I think you can see his potential. His super uddered mother was named Wildfire because of her dark red colour and she is also loaded with maternal strengths from some of our very best cows. Here is a full fleck, Harrach embryo bull from a flush we bought from Vaughn Gibbons in Ontario. He purchased this flush cow from the MFI dispersal for $17,000, and we have always had good results with the Harrach sired progeny we have raised, so the choice was easy. This picture was taken when the bull was under 10 months old, so by sale day you will see how his qualities have developed.
