Full Fleckvieh: Full Fleckvieh cattle are a strain of Simmental that originate exclusively from Germany and Austria. There they were bred as a dual purpose animal, used for both milk and meat. Full Fleckvieh cattle are more moderate framed, easier fleshing than the “traditional” Simmental that came from other parts of Europe. Fleckvieh influenced bulls will add milk to your females and performance to your bulls and steers.

and is the star of the pen. Not only is he a homo polled Full Fleck, he is also the top ranking bull in the pen for yearling weight and average daily gain (ADG). He is wide topped, heavy muscled and travels well on his feet and legs. His dam was a first calf heifer and is a daughter of our Sering cow that is a foundation cow in our Fleckvieh program. She has had numerous sons and grandsons top this sale while also putting some excellent females into our herd. Pontoon’s pedigree is also stacked with greats like Anchor D Viper, PRL Lopez, Eagle Ridge Patricia, Double Bar D Flashy and Anchor T Metro. He ranks in the top 20% for milk and top 10% for MWWT so one can expect him to produce excellent females.
