This event enters it’s twenty-fourth year and has been the source of superior seedstock for nearly a quarter century. These multi-generational families have built outstanding breeding programs… breeding programs that have been highly successful in competition on the tanbark and sale ring. The strength of their annual spring bull sale is directly related to powerful, productive cow herds. We must take this time to recognize and congratulate Duncan and Val Lees as recipients of the “Friends of Bonanza” award presented this past summer at Camrose. They have dedicated a lot of “haying time” to support the junior movement in Canada and it is great to see their grand children carry on their competitive and dedicated spirit. Let us not forget to congratulate Chad Wilson for raising our flag a little higher. His 2019 Grand Champion Bull, “Haroldson’s United 33D 36G”, was crowned 2021 US Cattlemen’s Congress Supreme Champion Bull. Daughters sell. The offering for this 24th sale is outstanding in every category. The 2021 models are fancy and will be competitive whether it be the 50th Anniversary at Agribition or the junior show schedule. You can rest assured that they will add earning power to your program for years to come. The bred heifer offering is one of the largest of the fall season. Deep, broody and many with early services, the offering is diverse in both phenotype and genetics, offering a wide selection of value-added opportunities. Wally from Roselawn, Steven from Manns and the Charlton gang add a front gate cut to add to the depth and quality of this event.
