Celebration Assemblies

We have had special visitors to our weekly assemblies. Miss Kerry shared the exciting career focused ECA brochure with the children to help support their after-school club selections and Miss Carolyn talked to the children about our school vision, ‘Honoring the Past. Educating for the future’. Miss Amirah spoke to the children about the importance of keeping themselves safe and who to talk to if they ever felt that they weren’t safe Miss Rukaya and Miss Naquaa now award Arabic and Islamic awards weekly for the Arabi programme star readers and Quran recitation. And finally, Miss Kim joined us to celebrate the optional STEM homework project which many of the children participated in, which was wonderful to see. Assemblies are certainly busy and packed full of celebrating student achievements, as they should be.
