Validity of tickets
Check the validity of your ticket beforehand! We check it at every entry and ticket controllers can check it anytime within the festival. For 6-day, 3-day passes and day tickets, you can enter the festival from 06:00 and stay on the festival grounds until 08:00 on the last day of your ticket’s validity. Details on the website!
Camping
You can camp almost anywhere on the island (please note that there are ‘no camping’ areas). You can only enter the upgrade campings with a valid camping pass, which will be validated upon your entry.
Prohibited items
In order to ensure the safe running of the event, we reserve the right to restrict some items and equipment from being brought into the festival. It is strictly forbidden to bring in glassware, clubs, cutting or stabbing objects, drugs, alcohol or other objects that could endanger the physical safety of others, or objects that are dangerous to public safety as defined by the legislation in force.
Permitted items
Food (non-commercial quantities), soft drinks (in a max. 2.5 liter PET bottle), cigarettes (max. 20 packs), cigars (max. 10 cigarillos).
Services
Luggage storage: luggage storage is available in some of the campsites and also on the festival grounds.
Locker: if you’re looking for a safe place for your valuables or to charge your devices, rent a safe deposit box with electricity. Look out for a limited number of them at various locations around the festival area or search for the SAFETRUCK.
Camping accessories collection point: If you’ve forgotten something from your camping set, come and take a look over here!
Sziget charger LIFESAVER: Don’t let your phone run out of battery, get yourself a LIFESAVER charger!
ATM: ATMs are available in the festival area, but remember that the festival is cashless!
Cashless payment: You can’t pay with cash in the festival area. You can top up your wristband balance via the Sziget application or at designated Festipay points (with cash or credit card). You can also use your contactless card and any payment-enabled devices (phone, smartwatch).

The Official Festival Shop: Here you can find all Sziget merchandising products.
Aldi City: You don’t have to leave the festival to do your daily shopping, Aldi offers you a wide selection of products. If you purchase BBQ products, we’ll grill them for free!

How to get to Sziget?
Sziget CityPass by Budapest Card: Purchase your 9, 5 or 3 day Sziget CityPass for free direct transfer to the airport and free public transportation. Thermal baths, museums and restaurants can all be visited free or with discounted tickets.
Sziget Festival boat service: There is a comfortable and fast boat service from Jászai Mari tér to Sziget Festival every day. The Sziget CityPass offers free travel on the Sziget boat services.
Taxi: You can choose the cabs of our 3 taxi partners. Find them at the official taxi stop near the Main Entrance at K-bridge! Our official partners: Bolt, Főtaxi, 6x6 Taxi. More info: szigetfestival.com/en/travel blinkee.city: Download the blinee.city app, grab a blinkee e-scooter and head towards Sziget Festival! You can park them near K-bridge. Details on the website.
Public Transportation: The easiest way to get to Sziget is via HÉV (suburban railway) No. H5, leaving from Batthyány tér or Margit híd every 15-20 minutes. Your stop to get off (and on) at Sziget is called Filatorigát. You can travel for free with your Sziget CityPass.
SZIGET AIRPORT SHUTTLE / miniBUD:
The official airport transfer partner of Sziget Festival. The Sziget shuttle operates between 8-16 August. The schedule is adjusted to airplane departures, and buses drive straight to the airport. Book your return journey now in person or online!

Bicycle storage: Free! You can store your bike at the designated storage area. Details on the website.
SHARE NOW: Arrive to the festival with SHARE NOW carpooling! The dedicated SHARE NOW car park is located after the H-Bridge festival entrance. Details on the website.
Pay Parking: Parking is limited, so please avoid arriving by car. If you decide to do so, please check the festival website for details.

E4U – Pop-Up Embassy

Lost or stolen ID/passport? Should you need to contact your embassy, you don’t have to chase around the city looking for it, E4U is here at Sziget to help you! “Embassies For You” is a collaboration betweeen several embassies in Budapest, that has provided help for foreign citizens who get into any kind of trouble during the festival for the past 11 years. We might save you a lot of time by giving you the right information before you reach out to your own embassy. Search for the E4U icon on the Services map (page 68-69.)!
