What a fun, very wet, short season we had but despite the rain washing out most of our games and training sessions, the boys did so well playing together for the first time. They braved the early, freezing, winter mornings mostly with bribery of red frogs from the canteen or half-time oranges and apples, chocolate frogs and many generous awards received from Mike’s Grill and Sylvania Southgate. The Coach always encouraged them to have fun and just to ‘have a go’ each week. We were lucky enough to win most of our games with the big, sometimes field length kicks into goals from our power kicker Alex. There were ‘set’ plays that Anthony & Alex shared scoring together many times, along with Isaac’s determination to run & kick the ball. Our youngest little player YoYo (Yousef) loved to run & go with the flow & could also read the play like Charlton as they both would stand in as goalkeeper at times & Kyle with his big sideline or one-off kicks. It was a great team effort from all of the boys each time we played. Most importantly, they just had fun & gave us so many laughs and proud, memorable moments such as their group chats on the field, finding mud patches, climbing in the trees, too cold to play, Charlton & Anthony bravely taking a few balls to the body/face, our on-field cheerleader Charlton & Kyle would keep an eye on the clouds for us, the ball going out the sideline 10,000 times, just to name a few. On behalf of the Parents and myself, a big thank you to our Coach Aiman and our assistant Coach Rob for their guidance, patience, encouragement and support you gave to all the boys. I’m sure we are all looking forward to 2023!

U6C t has been a great first season of soccer for many of the boys this year and its been an absolute privilege in coaching them, watching them grow as player after each game is nothing short of amazing! Everett "Superfoot" Burden has an absolute golden boot. By scoring many long range goals for our team with great precision, he has really come out of his shell and showed great confidence on and off the field. Louis "Golden Locks" McMaster. This pocket rocket showed moments of great skill. From a shy little boy at the start of the season to watching Louis run in and score a goal was one of my favourite highlights of the year. Can’t wait to see him on the field next year. Mum and Dad, thermals are must for 2023. Malykai "Fireup" Singleton in his second season and boy has he developed. Plenty of energy on the field and definitely a future striker, but also showed loads of winger potential, scoring and setting up many goals for the team this season. Alex "Ninja" Lumley has had some great defence moments getting amongst the action each week, stopping goals and being a great support to his team. Saxon "Quick Foot" Bradley is definitely our allrounder. He will get back in defence and also can confidently dribble the ball rounding up the opposition like a sheepdog to the cattle, (just effortlessly). Then follow through to score the team some goals each game. He was a pleasure to have on the team with great manners and also a really great listener. Laikyn "The Tank" SingletonL to R: Gregory Singleton (Coach), Louis Cook, Laikyn Singleton, Saxon Bradley, is our youngest Malykai Singleton, Everett Burdon, Alexander Lumley, Panisara Burdon (Manager) player at 4 years old and is solid as a rock (definitely a future back). He loves a goal kick and also a bird in the sky. Showed great moments of defence, stopping the opposition from time to time (sometimes by pure accident) and was close to scoring a goal this season. Confidence has increased so much since the start of year we are very proud of our little Laiky! Coaching this team has been an honour! I have had the best time watching these guys improve each and every game. I also just want to thank our amazing Manager Panisara for helping keep our team together, I couldn't have done it without her 10/10 organisational skills!

W6D This season I have had the honour to manage the W6Ds, along with coach Luke Denver. We named the team "The Firecrackers" because we had a brilliant bunch of young girls full of energy. At this point our girls are undefeated champions. This girls have learnt great leadership via Luke and even when they were winning, stepped back on several occasions to let the other team score a goal. Showing the true meaning of sportsmanship. Training was obviously very difficult with the rain this season. So keeping the girls motivated was interesting. We met up in the garage of my home to introduce the girls to each other a few times. So they actually got to train before the first game. We also utilized the hall. Luke who is a brilliant coach has shown great patience with the team. Luke managed to navigate any challenges beautifully. The parents on the team have shown him support and appreciation. Coach Luke Turner is a guy you want on your team. He knows his stuff and his commitment and guidance has given the girls so much more than just a coach. He is a strong yet gentle giant to the girls. His openness to allow the parents to assist has made this team a family. Denver is a little pocket rocket. Her fair and humble nature shows a gentle ability to score goals without force. Her natural height gives her a great ability to run and to shoot from a distance. Her commitment to the team is wonderful. Gabriella the defender !!! Gabriella just won't let a goal in even at training. She loves to stick at the back and make sure no goals go past her. Her strong boot has seen her score twice from the half-way mark. Very committed to the team. Hailey was our little surprise. She started the season a little nervous about playing so we showed her lots of love. She is now one of our strongest most comfortable strikers. Hailey is our work horse as Luke loves to call her. She Back Row L to R: Luke Turner (Coach), Laura Ayoub,(Manager) Front Row L to R: Hailey Kapo, Kaia O turns up and fires up the field. ’Dowd, Gabriella Ayoub, Her commitment to the team is wonderful.

Denver Turner, Jai-Dylan Warren, Madelaine Loke, Tegan Iskander Kaia is a rock star. Kaia turns up to play. She is another amazing goal scorer. She will stay on the field no matter what. She loved learning new tricks and is good at them. Kaia is a wonderful asset to the team with great commitment. We are lucky to have our Maddie. She has never played soccer before and she had been a wonderful addition to our team later in the season. Maddie has grown into herself with confidence, proving to herself she can play and score goals too! Maddie shows great commitment to the team is wonderful. Jai or JD for short, has made improvements in the season. JD loved being part of the team. Her ability on the field has increased and she has grown into a happy team member. It's all about her growth and that's important to her parents and the team! At just 4 and a half, It was a rocky start for Tegan but Coach Luke once again worked his magic to getting Tegan to a stage where she is on the field playing and being part of a team. Well done to Tegan. We are proud of her growth. Many of the girls will train through summer and hope to stay together as the firecrackers again next. As the Manager, I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of this team. I have loved every little would and they have given me much love. I will be disappointed to see the season end given all the disruptions with the rain. I am so proud of our undefeated warriors. Our Firecrackers

U6G As with all teams, it was a tricky season for U6G, with the challenges of wet weather and COVID playing havoc with training and playing schedules. So thank you to Lisa Boyle for managing the team so effectively and to all of the parents for contributing to the fun and success that the boys enjoyed over the season as they developed their footballing ability, whether it was helping with Field Set Up, BBQ or Canteen duty, committing to weekly training and practice sessions, or just attending the game and cheering the team from the sidelines. This was the first season for most of the team (and the coach) so lesson number one was remembering which goal to attack. The team moved from there to regular training drills, with the favourite being the Squid Game-inspired Red Light / Green Light, the always popular Dads v Boys, and the coach's personal favourite: Who Can Pick Up The Most Cones? However, some of the skill, creativity and enthusiasm seen at training didn't always translate to results on game day, as the boys suffered some big early losses. Even at five and six years old, boys don't enjoy playing in one-sided games against vastly superior teams, and as the goals scored against them went into double figures there was a noticeable slump in their shoulders and a drop in their tenacity. Thanks to those clubs who put fun and enjoyment ahead of yet more goals. Midseason, we welcomed Andre Kolta to the team and saw an immediate transformation as his attacking skills and all-round awareness contributed to a string of two wins. One of those wins included perhaps the best single performance of the season as Adam O'Loughlin demonstrated his speed and control to score all five goals as Player of the Match. Lincoln Wolfenden scored a few goals of his own throughout the season as he developed into an attacking player who could organise and coordinate raids towards the opposition goal while also able to retreat at speed into a defensive position when L to R: Daniel Maxwell, Matthew Davies, Andre Kolta, Lincoln Wolfenden, Adam O’Laughlin, Paul O’Laughlin (Coach) required.Matthew Davies became a defensive specialist, saving many goals especially later in the season, along with Michael Mitsiou whose stoicism showed when he became an almost impenetrable block to the opposition. Daniel Maxwell showed that he could be an effective goal scorer when he wanted to be, and Colton Bailey's mighty right foot had the opposition shaking in the boots whenever he was near the ball. Again, thanks to the players, parents and families who supported the team throughout the season.

Paul O’Laughlin Coach

U6H The boys have had a very successful season, winning all but 1 game. This was the first season for all the boys, and we were impressed by their friendship, teamwork and camaraderie. Throughout the season we saw continued improvement in gamesmanship, awareness on the field, concentration and passing. We had an dominating strike force of Ameen and Lucas, who scored 90% of our goals for the season, and who's skill impressed all players and parents alike. Tommy and Nektarios developed defensive and passing skills throughout the season and we saw great strides in their awareness on the field and ball control. The three musketeers of Sebastian, Trevor and Marco all developed teamwork skills across the season, scored goals for their team and worked hard at training to improve and learn about the game. They advanced their technical ability and grew in confidence in both attacking and defending. It was a great pleasure to watch the boys grow and develop through the season. We want to thank the parents for their help, support and dedication, we could not have achieved the success without you. We look forward to the 2023 season.

Despite another season of endless interruptions due to weather our boys had a very successful 2022 season winning most of their games U7B and competing very strongly in the games we lost or drew in and in most cases being the better team throughout. All the boys worked hard at training and improved on their skills and team work and most importantly listened well and always brought great focus, energy and attitude into every game. Dare I say it the feared RED CARD was not used at all throughout the year at any of our training sessions, much to my delight. The most rewarding part for me was seeing the boys smiles, watching them enjoy training and improving at the game while having fun, regardless of the result. Rhys is a great little player, has a lot of speed, and a heap of determination. One of his main strengths is his ability to read the play and defend well and his 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 battles at training with his mates always a highlight. Nico really stepped up this year, he involved himself in everything and was fearless every week in attack as well as defence, with one of his key areas of improvement being his passing and positional play on the field.

Haarlem’s speed and skill went up another level this year. He scored plenty of goals and was never afraid to take players on with his new skills, at times making reference to his idol Ronaldo at training and playing like him too. His natural athleticism at times was too much for opposition teams to contain. Nate was our midfield superstar, commanding in the middle of the park, he was always reliable, never giving up and winning lots of the ball and scoring plenty of goals. His exceptional work at training, improvement in dribbling skills and eagerness to learn was second to none and it definitely showed this year.Jude had a much -improved year. His effort and determination at training and game day and hunger to win the ball and put in one hundred and ten percent each week was great to see. He also developed a knack for taking most of the goal kicks and kick ins, which I think he thoroughly enjoyed. Fernando had another super year scoring plenty of goals and showing his sleek skills week in week out. He’d get knocked down but would always get back up with determination to keep going and do the best for his team, in the process scoring some amazing individual and long range goals. Thank you to all the parents for their support and effort throughout the year at training and game days, the commitment to get the boys to training on some really cold winter nights and wet Saturday mornings was amazing, I think we have one of the best supported under 7s teams in the Shire. Finally a big thank you to Michael our manager for all his help throughout the year. Looking forward to a bigger and better 2023!

The mighty U7C Trees! What a season we have had. The U7C’s are the same group of amazing kids that started their footballing journey together last year in the under 6’s. We also welcomed one new addition to our team, Boston. Last year it was COVID and this year mother nature got in the way of many games, however, the amount of growth these boys have made this year is out of this world. Every week their attitude, attack, defence, and cohesiveness improved drastically. We are quickly becoming an unstoppable force. The positive energy, friendship, laughter and fun the boys have every Saturday makes the early morning starts all worth it. I ’d like to thank our hardworking manager Tina for all her efforts in coordinating the team this year.

U7C

The U7C’s are full of fantastic families and if it was not for all the parents helping on game day and getting the boys to the game every week, then we would not have all the fond memories we have today. For that, I thank the families of each player. Every player brings something unique and important to the success of our team, so I would like to take this opportunity to honour the boys with their own unique awards: Boston: “The Natural” – Boston made the wise transition from Rugby League to Soccer this year and you would not know it is his first season of soccer. Within two games he was terrorising opposition defenders with his dribbling skills. A bright future ahead for Boston and I hope he remains on the good side. Oliver: “Most Enthusiastic” – Oliver is the sunshine on our Saturday mornings. He arrives to every training and game with energy and enthusiasm and brightens up our day with his smile. He improved so much this year and was an important member of our team. Superstar. Liam: “The Entertainer” – Liam is the player that brings the crowds in from all over the country. Not only did he manage to spectacularly find the back of the net many times this year, but his post goal celebrations were also just as spectacular. Posing to the crowd and soaking in the attention. If you have been to a U7C Sylvania game, you’ll realise he gets this from his father. Harley: “The Destroyer” – You will be hard pressed to find a 6-year-old who tackles as hard as Harley, especially from such a small body. Harley consistently prevents the opponents from scoring goals with brutal tackles. Like a homing missile you would see Harley’s eyes lock onto the target, and he would attack the ball with no thought about self-preservation, rarely missing. Bentley: “Most Improved” – Bentley’s improvement this year was incredible. Every week you would hear someone say, “how good is he playing?!”. His defence, attack and attitude have come along in leaps and bounds and he should be very proud of this. Damien: “Goal of the Century” – If there was live commentary for Damien’s goal at Kareela Oval, it would go something like this. “Damien wins the ball in his own half, he manoeuvrers around one player, cuts outside another. The ball is quickly moving towards the sidelineon halfway, can he keep it in? He keeps it in with a beautiful touch, hits it first time from the halfway sideline. It sails through the air, bouncesonce, hits the post and IT’S IN! What a goal, Cristiano Ronaldo himself would be proud of that one.” Louis: “The Sylvanian Messi” – Louis has all the tricks in the book. Every week he would pull out fancy turns and footwork to keep the ball away from the opposition. He would completely bamboozle the other team and leave mouths open around the ground. I ’m quite sure I once heard someone say “wait…. Is that Messi?” I wish a safe and happy offseason to the boys and their families and thank you for trusting me to guide your children in their footballing journey. It has been a privilege.

We felt confident going into Pre-Season that our team as a unit and individual basis were ready to step up. Our focus for the year was planned around ball skills, introducing passing in games and making the girls understand positions on the field. The crazy weather we had, impacted our training and game plans throughout Pre-Season and Regular season but the girls still managed to "unofficially" end up top of the table! This team has another gear or two and we look forward to next season. The teams’ development is going really well and they are a team to look out for. Each player has great potential and the improvement has been absolutely fantastic. Their determination to win every ball is outstanding. Heidi has improved so much this season in all areas of the game. I am so proud of her as her coach but more so as her Dad. Her personality and confidence is fantastic and infectious to the team. Great energy and speed, loves to attack and get goals. Jumps in to defend and a great team player. Khloe's attitude in every game is top level. She inspires the team to do better on the field and is always in high spirits. She has great pace on the ball, chasing back with defensive duties and chipped in with some goals. Loves to celebrate a goal and has a great attitude and a great team player. Paris has a great attitude and willingness to develop. She is always helping her team mates which is awesome to see. She knows how to lift the team spirit. She is a top player and is excellent in attack and defence. Paris is a left-footed player with great skill, dribbling, pace, goals and understanding of all aspects of the game. Kaitlyn has a great personality and character. She is always smiling even when she is playing and has a great attitude with her team mates. Softly spoken but get her on the field and she Back Row L to R: Aiman Gouda (Coach), Ronnie Bouziotis (Manager) gives it 100% all the time. Front Row L to R: Paris Kinnas, Suri Sefian, Khloe Bouziotis, Olivia Springett, Kaitlyn has solid dribbling skills, Lexi Hoggett, Heidi Gouda Absent: Kaitlyn Behary gets goals and not afraid to get into a challenge. Lexi has a great attitude and is always eager to learn more in training and play hard during the games. She has developed so well this season and her skills have improved so much. Quietly spoken and always smiling, Lexi is a strong defender with great tackling skills and a fierce shot - bagging goals for the team. Suri is such a kind and thoughtful person, her greatest trait is her willingness to develop. In training she takes on every drill and doesn't stop until she perfects it. A wonderful character that is always lifting her teams’ spirit. As a player she is very powerful with the ball at her feet, determined to score and gets goals. Keen to pass the ball to teammates. Olivia has a great outgoing personality and is confident. Olivia has developed to be a great player with a fantastic approach to the game. Olivia is our 'box to box' player with strong defensive and attacking instincts. Powerful shot with eye for goal. This is the second year we have been together and as parents our bond is getting so much stronger. As parents we all have thesame outcome ; for our kids to have a great time while developing skills. The support Manager Ronnie and I get from the parents to fantastic. Ronnie and I would like to thank all the parents, family and friends that turn up every week(rain, hail or shine) and support the team.Ronnie and I are looking forward to 2023 and seeing this team became even better.

Due to the weather throughout this season, resulting in many games and training sessions being called off, the boys would without fail, turn up to every game and training with a smile of enthusiasm and eagerness on their face. Week in, week out you could see the chemistry that was growing within the team as the boys looked forward to playing this amazing sport together as friends. Compared to the beginning of the season, each of the boys is like a different player with the amount they have improved.

Jonathan is a player that will never give up a ball and will constantly try to win it back from the opposing team. Samuel is constantly running around trying to win the ball and will never stop smiling the second he steps onto the pitch. I’m surprised Thomas’ legs haven’t fallen off this season with the amount of running that he has done at every training session and game. Jesse’s ability to move to the ball like a magnet has improved massively this season and his big boot has helped in numerous occasions. Will has been excellent with his dribbling and shooting this season, with his passing and teamwork also standing out. Noah has been a brick wall of a defender at the back, clearing any danger that comes his way. All components of Harry’s game has improved this year. Especially his ability to find a teammate with any pass and his tackling. Overall, it has been a great year with these boys, and thank you to the club and all the amazing parents for this season!

The girls W7E team this year was a small but courageous group of girls. A group of 5 players whom of which had never played in a soccer team before, often we had to step up as we only had four players with no substitutes. We gelled well together from the start and formed a nice little team who quickly progressed their skills and understanding of the game.

Ashlyn was one of our best strikers and the only girl in our team who had played previously, she helped guide our girls on the field. Ashlyn showed resilience and strength in games where the team was struggling often with no substitutes. Ashlyn showed great leadership throughout the season. Athena started the season a little shy and reserved but soon found her confidence out on the soccer field. Athena delivered some of the best goals of the season and if she found space out on the pitch no one could challenge her to the goals. Laila had never played soccer before but very quickly learned to use her strength to deliver some massive kicks. Laila turned up to every game with the biggest smile and with great eagerness to play. She was one of our teams’ strongest blockers and tacklers. Katie was very timid and shy at the start of the season but built up her confidence throughout the season and progressed her skills. Towards the end of the season Katie was always looking to get involved in the games and produced some strong kicks in defence. She always had a smile on her face and played her best for the team. Jordan was our strongest defender and although she had never played soccer before, she was able to read the play of the game and got into position on the field to stop a lot ofgoals. Jordan showed boundless amounts of energy and was often running the length of the field to support her team in both defence and attack. Jordan was always smiling and her enthusiasm inspired the entire team. Thank you to all the wonderful parents who helped out with coaching, managing and team duty, although we weren ’t a large team we managed to band together to get things done for the kids.

We are so proud of all the girls. They all had a great season and played so well in the U8A's. We were up against some very tough competition, but they girls always gave 110% right up until the end. Bizou was a fantastic player, very fast and great at attacking and taking the ball all the way up the field. Olivia played a great season as our forward and did a fantastic job of taking the ball up the field to help the other players score. Ruby was a star defender and special mention should be made of her superstar effort of kicking the ball out of the way to save a goal.

Rosie was a great attacker and scored some amazing goals. Liana was our super star goalie. She had never played this position before but took to it like a natural and stopped so many goals. Sienna always used her speed to attack the ball and bring it up the field. Keeva was a fantastic all-rounder with lots of speed and energy every game. Sasha played so well in mid field and always attacked the ball often taking it off the competitors and passing to her team mates. Courtney found her calling as defender and goalie this season. She was always keen to go in goal and played so well in that position. Cameron was our superstar all-rounder. A wonderful player with lot of speed. It's been a pleasure coaching and managing the team this year and watching the girls each weekend improve and give it their best. They have had a fantastic season and lots of fun with their friends.

The boys have worked so hard this season, They played very well and continued to improve their skills each week. Despite a lot of missed games and limited training due to the weather they have excelled individually and as a team. All 9 boys clearly have a strong passion and love for the game, they each brought something special and unique to the field which made the team so enjoyable to watch. Alexander is such a consistent player, with his skills perfecting every week, His Fast feet and awesome dribbling skills make him hard to catch. Angus quickly found out he had great defensive ability and took his place on the field as our defender, he worked hard to stop all the balls and defend his line. Corbin is constantly improving his technical skills, loves a good tackle and scored some amazing goals. Daniel showed great skills consistently throughout the season, His determination and no fear attitude saw him power through the opposition. Jaxon fought with tenacity every week, continuously improving and working hard defending his line. Liam was our all-rounder, between his amazing goal keeping skills and movement on the field you'll find him in any position just to help the team out. Luca shows fantastic skill on the field every week and isn't afraid to take control of the ball from his opponents. Riley has continuously improved and the coach worked out quickly he was our star left corner kicker and what a kick it is! Theodore brings a kick like no other, He has great skills and never shies away from a challenge always crunching the opposition with his hard tackles. Overall we'd love to congratulate the boys with the determination they showed each week, Well done Legends!

I couldn't be prouder to coach the W8B soccer team, with the limited soccer games / training we have had over the past couple of years. Our girls have improved so much throughout the year, they are enthusiastic at training, always willing to learn and listen to myself and Brett which showed on game day!! (Will get the goal kicks right one day). We always try to make sure the girls are having fun, play together as a team and display excellent sportsmanship. Thank you to the parents and grandparents for all your efforts to make sure the girls made it to training and games. This year has had its’ challenges with the wet weather and we truly thank you for your support. A special thank you to our manager Brett, your ongoing organisation of game day preparations, time keeping making sure all the girls have a fair go and continuing to support me and the team whenever it was needed. We couldn’t do this without you! Now for the most important part onto our little soccer superstars. Zali, the hunger you show week to week is outstanding, so competitive, and willing to do anything to get that ball. Scoring some outstanding goals and stopping them also. Georgia, you have improved greatly this year and finding new skills and hunger for that ball, your throw-ins are so powerful that allows your team to receive the ball in a good position for attack. Lyla, you have shown so much passion for soccer during the year, with your ball control moving around players and taking shots for goals, your confidence keeps growing in the game keep it up. Reeva, you can play any position on the field with confidence. With so much hustle to get that ball, and always trying to be there for your team. Madeline, you have the ability to defend like no other, always getting yourself in the correct position to defend the ball. You have saved some terrific goals throughout the season. Well done and keep it up. Katie, you have developed into a great goal keeper and that’s what the team needs. Your attuited towards learning to be a better keeper is unreal. Keep up the good work.Ashleigh, well done this year. Big improvements in your soccer game. You have such a big kick, I want you to keep going and improving. Mae, you have improved throughout the year. Very strong on the ball with a big boot as well, defending your goal line and scoring some goals too.Anastasia, great listener and always willing to learn. You can play in any position, showing determination and always eager to help your team out! W8B

The U8D's really enjoyed their 2022 season and were sad to have their last game. The season had it's highs and lows. We started with the 11 players;

Matias, Max , Spencer , Falcon, Taylor, Aiden, Thomas,

Remmy, Levi, Justin and Blayke. About mid-way through the season, our couch Phil resigned along with his son Levi who wanted to try another sport. Matias's father, Dario offered to help and became our replacement coach however he was spread thinly as he was already coaching his other son's team. Without Dario's help, we would have been left without a coach. Remy also dropped out half- way through. These incidents affected the team's morale but to the kid's credit, they banded together and finished the season. They are looking forward to next year and we are all so very grateful to be part of such a fantastic club where a lot of people donate their time for the good of the community and kids.

Another great season comes to an end and our incredible run continues, moving from the under 7s to the under 8s meant inviting 3 new players into our group which quickly became 3 new friends. The girls had to adapt to a few firsts this year. Bigger fields, throw-ins ,bigger goals and of cause goal keeping. Oh, and rain ….lots of rain. They took to these like ducks to water (pardon the pun). Another first this year was a loss. The first in 2 seasons which they avenged 3-0 last week in a spectacular display of team work. As this season comes to an end I’d like to thank all the parents for their commitment to our girls, choosing Sylvania and choosing the game of Football and especially thank our incredible Team, the self-named “Mighty Glitter Bombs”, may they continue to shine. Ava is a tenacious and competitive player who loves to win. A natural finisher, Ava has matured as a player and is a much bigger player than her pint-sized frame entails. Amelia is a delightful player who always does what is asked of her, always has a smile and never gives up. Charlote is a great all-round player with a strong left foot. As her surname would suggest you don’t want to mess with this little Bull. They say looks can be deceiving and that is especially the case with Chloe. If tough had another name, it would be Chloe. Always in the thick of it with her never say die attitude. Darcy is a natural defender and what an incredible defender she is as week in, week out, she saves the team. A pleasure to coach, always shy and polite …until she laces on the boots then she transforms into super Darcy. Isobel is tall, fast and competitive. She can play any position and understands the game beyond her years. She just keeps getting better week in, week out. Jayda is the heart and soul of the team. She always has a smile and always gives 100 percent. Great dribbling skills and a great asset to the team. Karla was new to the team this year and what a great acquisition she has been. She loves to score goals and loves to win. A very competitive and skilful young player. The sky ’s the limit for Madilyn. Speed to burn and the added bonus of the want to win. Maddie can be up front striking one second then defending the next, a great all round player. Seline is a terrific player with ball control beyond her years, strong on with both feet. She has all the potential to grow into star. Soglad she’s on our side. Zaida is another new asset to the team this year. She is getting stronger every week and scoring is becoming a habit. Always full of joyful energy you can always rely on her to play well. Special thanks To Brad for managing this team and our chat group, we’d be lost without you ….. seriously , we wouldn’t know where the games were. Bring on 2023.

This was the first year this team have played together and from where we started to where we finished is a real credit to the boys. The boys added their own flair and personality to the team and it was such a pleasure to see them grow on the soccer pitch and form great friends Jax, really found his confidence during the season and was a star playing goalkeeper. Some of his efforts shocked both himself, the opposition and the parents. He was a strong force in our defensive line not giving the opposition an inch. Angelo, our cheeky energiser bunny kept us entertained both on and off the field. He was our brick wall in defence and didn’t allow the opposition to get past him. He developed a nice passing game at the back end of the season. Gus, it is remarkable how far he has come in his first year of soccer, while both scoring and assisting some amazing goals. He was everywhere on the field with a never say die attitude and fancy footwork. Oscar, a man of few words that lets his soccer do the talking. He had an influential presence on the field, led from the front and scored some top shelf goals. He showed speed, strength and was a constant threat to the opposition. Patrick, really came out of his shell during the year and grew in confidence with every game he played. His grit in defence and speed when chasing the ball was great to watch. Bailey, don’t let his size fool you. His loud voice and personality shone on the field. He was strong in defence, chased the ball everywhere and was willing to do what the team needed. Caspian, has been fantastic to watch over the course of the season. He was always fighting for the ball and was keen to get in and assist his team. He developed a nice dribbling game and paired this nicely with his speed. Anthony, and his cannon left foot. You better not get in his way when he launches his kicks. He showed no fear when fighting for the ball and improved massively from the beginning of the season. Joseph, showed great determination in everything he did, scored some remarkable goals and developed a nice passing game setting up some goals for his team mates. Parents, a big “Thank You” for always being at training and at the games cheering on our boys. It was a pleasure to see the passion you shown in supporting and encouraging the team, the boys and I got a great buzz out of it. Thankyou to Stacey for managing and looking after everything related to the team. I thoroughly enjoyed coaching the boys and it has been a massive thrill to see how they have developed over the year. They are an awesome bunch of kids and made us all very proud. U8F

Our pre-season started with many of our training sessions washed out so we went to M5FA for a number of indoor training sessions to get ready for the season. We lost two superstars of our team to reps but we had some real improvement from players who stepped up to take their place. As the season progressed we really improved staying in our positions and the team is really starting to gel. It's a pity we had so many games washed out which didn’t give us a chance to reach our full potential. Alexander's big kicks really helped get the ball up the field. Austin was excellent in goals. Mason always gave 100% effort. Joshua really improved throughout the season. Ashton has a beautiful straight kick. Jordan and Niam are great in defense. Kobi is always attentive and fun. Lexi scored at least one goal per game thanks to the hard work of the rest of the team. Special thanks to all those players who helped us out when we were short on players.

It was a fantastic year with all the W9B girls improving their ability and their read of the game each week and playing as a very strong W9B team unit. We had lots of highlights each week whether it was on the field or at training, with all the girls playing exceptionally well and showing huge amounts of improvement each week. Whether it was the girls hyping each other up after scoring a long-range thriller or them having a thrilling soccer game against our beloved parents at our last training session. A season that was unforgettableand disrupted with lots of wet weather and covid unfortunately never staying away, it didn’t stop the girls having fun and always turning up with a great smile on their face. , Clio is a valuable asset to our team. She has exceptional speed on the ball, getting the edge on her opponents, being able to make quick runs down the line and play anywhere on the field. Clio’s goalie skills can’t be matched. She pulls off brilliant saves every time, always impressing the crowd and saving us in key moments of the game.Katie always has a great attitude and loves playing with her teammates. Katie’s trademark long shots reign supreme, always putting the opposition under threat. She is another great goalkeeping asset, and her passing is excellent with her long goalie kicks down the field finding a teammate. Indra is a goal machine, having a standout impressive first season as a fantastic attacking asset.

Indra knows where the back of the net is, able to strike the ball and score goals from anywhere at any time. This showed with scoring her 5 goals in a game against Lilli Pilli. Her improvement each week at training consistently showing she is a future star in the making, made her a joy to coach and we hope to see her back next year. Her bestie Ella also had a standout first season , creating an excellent attacking combination with Indra. Ella’s ability to pass and find a teammate with outstanding vision and read of the game helped our team in goal attacking threats but also in defending corners at the other end of the pitch. Ella always has a great attitude and contributes greatly for her teammates making me proud to be her coach. Bella had another great year with us contributing to all positions on the field making her an excellent asset. Bella is a versatile player, who can score a goal, create a goal scoring opportunity for a teammate, and take a corner very well. She has great knowledge of the game, always improving her skills and is never scared to put her body on the line for the team with great jockeying which is impressive to watch. Bella is fearless, never not leaving a game with scratches or grazes and has an amazing ability and attitude. Having a breakout year with growing amounts of improvement was Annalise. Annalise always brings up the team morale and is a key midfielder and defender with her quality effort and passing. Annalise Back Row L to R: Shantelle Tagg (Manager), Rod Sultana (Coach), Katie Sultana, Ava Culbert, continues to get better every week and is a privilege to Elizabeth Smithies, Annalise Karantonis, Mitchell Sultana (Coach) coach. Her clearances from the back and standing in front of her opponents to win the ball back doesn’t go Front Row L to R: Clio Tagg, Ella Sweeney, Indra Stevens, unnoticed. The rock at the back, Kayra had another Kayra Huseyin, Isabella Ljubas, Joelle Milne successful year. Kayra is a gifted, unique soccer player whose clearances and strong boot help massively. Whenever we were in trouble and the other team looked to having a scoring opportunity Kayra was never afraid to get in front of the ball and jockey away possession back for her team. She always has a great mentality and is driven player who always wants to be on the field to do the best. Who could forget how impactful Ellie was with a breakout season, and a consistent successful year. She improved her ability to keep the ball at her feet and read the game brilliantly showing great efficiency with her passing. Ellie picked up a few goals, proving to be a force to be reckoned with, always having an awesome attitude towards training and games, she is always a pleasure to coach. Ava is always a standout team player. A gifted goal scorer and her dribbling and ability to get past her opponents is exceptional. If Ava isn’t scoring the goals, she is assisting them. You can always tell when Ava is on the field because of her drive and threat of making the play her own using her great passing vision to find a teammate, always having fun, and loving to play with her team mates especially on a very cold morning. Finally, the amazing, funny, and caring teammate Joelle. In her first year with our team slotting straight in, having a splendid year. There wasn’t anything Joelle couldn’t do. Her high clearances, long shots, efficient passing, and great tackles, proving to be an asset. No one could forget Joelle’s screamer that flew into the top right corner, getting us a close win at home on a cold, wet morning against Menai. Joelle would always rock up to training with a smile and seeing her positive attitude lifted the team morale, making her a joy to coach. A big thank you to Joelle’s sister Rosie who helped fill in when we were short of numbers. Lastly, another big thank you to all the parents for getting everyone to training each week, doing our duties in the canteen and BBQ every early Saturday morning and supporting us on the sidelines each week. Your support from the sideline doesn’t go un-noticed and is what lifts the girls spirits every week, so thank you. Another huge thank you to our manger Shantelle Tagg, who does an amazing job in notifying the parents each week and keeping us well organised so that we turn up to the right field at the right time. And to my coaching assistant Rod Sultana for his efforts with helping with the girls. It was an incredible year for the girls. All the girls going out on the field and always putting in awesome amounts of effort and playing for each other, to have fun and score some goals, which couldn’t make me prouder. I had a brilliant time coaching again this year and hope to see everyone back next year for another great and remarkable year, so we can do it all again. Fantastic Job Girls, till Next Year!!

It has been a great season with the boys giving it their all each game and having so much fun on the field. There has been strong development in the players, both individually and as a team. The way they began to trust their teammates to do their job and move to the goal together was particularly pleasing. Not just a great season but a chance to make new friendships. Tyrin is a strong team player with an excellent understanding of the game. Always in position and ready to strike. Benntley proved himself in goals this year with great development over the season. Such a reliable player in any position. Robert is the wall of defence, sending the ball flying back to the opponent's end whenever it came down ours. James was the leading striker and will have a crack at goals from any range. Albert always shows excellent sportsmanship and is not afraid to use his head to move the ball forward. Harry is a great all-rounder player stepping into any position with skill and determination. Declan loves to play as goalkeeper and proves it on the field. His long kick has got the team out of trouble many times. Isaac chases everything down. He won't shy away from going in for the tackle and has got many turnovers for the team.

W9D W9D’s, what a year! Apart from the monsoon rain,, ground closures and being unable to train , we did extremely well and I couldn’t be more proud to have coached and been apart of such a wonderful team and group of girls. We welcomed new additions to our side to compliment our seasoned veterans and ended up having our best season yet where our victories outweighed our defeats and a few draws thrown in for good measure. Bailey was off to a blistering start with her finishing skills top notch, slotting many goals before her season was cut short due to injury , to then become our Number 1 supporter. Cara once again has proven her dribbling prowess and great attitude are an integral part of our team. Carolina’s hard work in defence and her ability to get us out of trouble was a sight to see. Evie in her first season was a handful for any opposition. Her explosive runs and solid defence were second to none and she also scored one of the goals of the year. Harper constantly pushing forward, contesting the ball, chasing in defence, will never give up and has scored some quality goals this season. Izzy in her first year as a Tree has been a great utility player also filling in as goalkeeper and improving every game. Madi has been great this year with many breaks down the sideline, controlling the ball at her feet and accurately passing, assisting in numerous goals. Mia from goalkeeping to goal scoring and everything in between, always gives 100%. Her determination and rock solid defence has been outstanding. Shanayd in her first year has improved with every game, in attack, and Back Row L to R: Lisa Ryan (Manager), Mia Borg, Shanayd Renno, defence, has proved to be a valuable part of the team. Valintina had a fantastic first season as though she’d Harper Ryan, Valentina Averkiou, Jason Borg (Coach) Front Row L to R: Bailey Ryan, Isabella Ayoub, Madison Blayney, Cara Carnuccio, Everly Jackson, been playing for years. Scored some cracking goals and Carolina Casalliglla Absent: was always there in defence. Chrysovalantina Averkiou Also, a very special mention to our awesome manager Lisa for always keeping us up to date on vital team info and providing the magic oranges and watermelon that proved to be the secret to our great season. Finally, to the best parents a coach could ask for. Your support of myself and the team was outstanding. Hope to see you all again in 2023. Go the Trees!

The boys have had a great season winning more games U9G than they lost. An exciting 6-game undefeated run towards the end of the year was a highlight. After a COVID disrupted 2021 season, the U9G boys were itching to get started. At the start of the season the weather didn't do us any favours with training, and it took a little while to find our groove. When we finally started to play in some positions and give ourselves some more space and time, it all started to click into place. We started playing expansive football and working on our tactics. We built from the back, played down the wings with pace and used short passes around the middle to get in front of goal. We become more familiar with our roles and confident in our play. As result we started scoring and winning some games consistently. Andre always ran himself to a standstill and a couple of well-deserved goals in attack towards to end of the year, safe between the posts. Brock is a player who improved each week, always listening to the coach. Safe as houses at right back. Only a goal line clearance kept him from opening his scorers account this year. Cyrus is an energetic fullback with an amazing right boot, got the boys rolling up the field with his amazing long ball, some energetic goal keeping was also a highlight. Eddie is our biggest listener and learner. He had a big season and lots of growth. Some amazing reflex saves Back Row L to R: Michael Teen (Coach), Dane Noon (Coach), between the posts, rock solid in defense. Finley injected speed and pace into the forward line and Brock Burcher, Edward Noon, Andre Winchester, Front Row L to R: Finley Stephen- scored several goals to get the team on their winning Messer, Zachariah Meawad, Oscar Williams, Ryder Hogan, Harrison Teen Absent : Cyrus Kestle ways. Great passer and had a great one two combination with Ryder. Harrison came out of his shell this season and owned the left wing with some speedy runs down the touch line. A screamer of a goal vs Georges River in the top corner, was a highlight and well deserved. Oscar was more and more confident as the season progressed. Whether it was between the goal posts or making runs down the field. Another player to take large steps forward this year. Ryder was all over the field winning the ball and taking it to goal with skill and precision. Scored a heap of goals and is a natural striker of the ball. He had a spectacular season. Zachariah is aggressive to win the ball with a massive strike on him. No goal looked ordinary and some screamers in there with a couple of hat tricks (when his boot wasn't flying off his foot). Thanks to all the support of our parents and players this season. We now have a great foundation to build on for next year, looking forward to an even more exciting 2023 season. Go Trees!

The U10A’s made us very proud this year. It was great to see a bunch of good mates come together on the field and play like a well drilled and organised team. They developed as players and kept learning the importance of staying in shape, controlling the ball and playing passing football. They worked hard for each other on the field and had some highly competitive games. A couple of highlights were beating Lilli Pilli and Menai in high level matches. It has been an absolute pleasure to coach this team and great bunch of mates and we have thoroughly enjoyed the season. We would also like to thank the parent group for their support and commitment. The yellow and green deadly little machines were: Luca who pulled off some great saves in the first half and scored some skilful goals on the field. Hunter the defending machine who never took a backward step.Zach who was our little bulldozer who made some crunching tackles. Blake was our strong and solid defender who always gave his best. Xander improved every week and developed in his position as defender. Was great to see Xander’s improvement through the season. Lucas (aka Jonny) played hard for his beloved trees and provided some handy assists from midfield. Nick ran all day, worked hard and competed for everything in midfield. Kyton used his good skill to beat players, assist and score some nice goals.Matteo worked hard for his team and scored some important goals. Lincoln (aka Bob), always stayed calm and solid. Was very versatile and scored some powerful goals. Cash was great to see Cash’s skill and footwork on the ball. He enjoyed playing with his mates.Bae was always there for his team and had some nice passing combinations with his team mates. U10A

I couldn't be prouder to coach the W10B team. Even with the limited games/training we’ve had over the past couple of years. Our girls have improved so much throughout the year. With the majority of the team coming up 2 grades our girls did extremely well. They are enthusiastic at training, always willing to learn and listen, which is all a coach can ask for. I always try to make sure the girls are having fun, play together as a team and display excellent sportsmanship. Thank you to the parents and grandparents for all your efforts to make sure the girls made it to training and games. This year has had its challenges with the wet weather, and we truly thank you for your support. A special thank you to our manager Scott for your ongoing organisation of game day preparations, time keeping, making sure all the girls have a fair go and continuing to support me and the team whenever it was needed. We couldn’t do this without you! Now onto our little soccer superstars. Abigail this season, moved from being a goalkeeper to the roaming role of a centre back to centre attack, allowing you to defended extremely well and attack the line with your monster kicks. Mariana, your attacking ability allowed you to score some great goals this year, frightening the other team to even run at you. You’re so strong with great ball control and awareness of when to dribble or pass the ball has grown throughout the year. You improved greatly this year, can’t wait to see what’s next for you. Bella you have improved so much throughout the year as a striker that looms around the front waiting to strike for goal, getting yourself in the right position for your team mates. It shows your confidence growing in the game and big things are coming your way. Klaudia your defence has improved so much, leading the defensive line in your team, instructing them where to go. Clearing that ball and passing to your teammates giving them a chance to attack. Bia you are always trying your best to help your team mates on the field. You have a great big kick on you that clears the ball. Your best position has been in the back line. Incredible effort this year. Yasmina, your ability to read the game has improved so much over the year. Left wing is your position, with speed to burn and dribbling around players, passing to your teammates and never give up attitude is what I love seeing in your play. Ashlyn, always making sure that myself and Scott are on our toes and focused! You can cover any position on the field from defending to attacking, with your skills improving and zero fear to attack that ball. Great effort this year and always improving. Indiana great effort this year with defending your line, first to the ball attuite and always trying to help your teammates. We can always count on you to do your best to get that ball and clear it down the line. Well done and keep up the good work. Isabella, you found your place in the goals with great improvement over the year. Also, when on the field either in the backs or at front, you tried your best. Keep up the practice and build that confidence. Well done. Yasmin great all-round player, can rely on you in any position. You have great speed and a big boot. I honestly believe that defence is your best position. Keep up the training and building your confidence. Well done. Mia, Big improvements this year. Can rely on you from midfield to attack. You must keep building that confidence in you. Maya, outstanding year. Another player I can play in any position. Great work mainly playing in the centre attack position where you found yourself passing/clearing the ball for your strikers providing them with the opportunities to score goals. Well done and keep it up. Zara, first year playing soccer well done. We can play you in any position on the field and you will try your best for your team. Great work as a keeper saving most great goals. Well done and keep up the good work. W10B

. I am so proud on what the boys did this season. When we didn’t get the results the boys kept on pushing and training hard. They never gave up, they just kept on going and developing and learning. Obviously the weather played a big part with the lack of games and training but still we found a way. The team formed great relationships and you can see the commitment the boys have and the willingness to improve and get better. Great season with these boys. Each one of the players improved in their skills and game knowledge and they had a great time doing it. Yasin has a great attitude and has shown great improvement this season on the field with his ball skills, dribbling and defence and in goals as the keeper. He pulled off some great saves this season, a few bumps but he was always smiling. A great team player. Dylan is a great all-rounder with incredible pace and great skills on the ball. He can play in any position and play it very well. Dylan has a great attitude and it’s been Back Row L to R: Aiman Goud (Coach), Lee Huang, Finn Doyle, Dylan Moffatt, Lachlan Whalen, Nicole Moffatt awesome to see how much he has developed throughout the season.(Manager) Front Row L to R: Tyson Skufris, Marcus Vera, Andrew Marney, Yasin Gouda, Aiden Matthews, Wiliam Vertigan Absent: Kiis Dunn, Miler Stephen-Messer, Reilly Stephen-Messer Finn had a fantastic season on the wings where his speed and dribbling

skills were great and always had a positive attitude. Finn learnt some cool tricks this season and it was so good to watch him do the tricks on the field and working well. Kiis has great energy and speed, loves to attack and get goals. Awesome attitude, a big heart and really good all round player. Played keeper a few times and went really well and likes to play in goals. Lee is the heart of our defence, his nickname was the Rock, very hard to get past him and he lead our defence this season. Lee is a fantastic person with great character and very proud of his achievements over the last few years. Aiden has great leadership qualities and he knows how to pump the team up during the games and put them in there positions. Aiden this season played in defence and he did a fantastic job in defence. He has a great attitude and a real passion for the game. Lachlan has such a big heart, he gives his all even if he isn’t 100% he stills goes hard and gives it his all. Very proud of the season Lachlan has had. We found his preferred position during the season which is in defence which he did so well and stopped so many goals.Andrew was one of our strikers and he had a great season scoring the winning goal in our last match of the season. His willingness to learn and development was excellent and always has a positive attitude and having a great time with his team-mates. Marcus is the other striker in the team and he had a great season, he has a natural eye for goal and a great shot. Marcus is a wonderful player and very humble characteristics. He is a natural striker and an awesome team player. Tyson was our creative midfield with beautiful passes and can set up play with his team-mates. He is always eager to learn and develop his skills and always does the best for the team. Tyson is very respectful to other and has an awesome attitude. He has a great attitude and love for his team-mates. He was great upfront and in the midfields. Miller is such a kind and respectful person, always helping out in training and on game day. Played really well as our CM. During the season he wanted to play as keeper which he never has before and he went really well and found a passion for being keeper. William is such a great character to have part of the team and making others laugh and smile. This season was his first and he has improved so much from day 1 to last game. Runs hard and good kick, William is very versatile and can play in any position. A massive and huge Thank you to all the parents, family and friends that support us throughout the season during the wet, cold and sunny days. We had a great bunch or parents and family members that were always supporting the team and were always involved. Cold mornings or wet training seasons, it didn’t matter, as long as the training and the games were still on all the family and friends would be there to support the team. You guys have been awesome. A special thank you goes to Steve and Nicole. You guys are absolutely fantastic managing the team this season. See you in 2023 when we do it all again.

A fabulous mix of boys has created a very enjoyable year for all. This team has created a great foundation to build on, as they now move into the 12s and start their careers in competition football. Even with a horribly wet season of stop start soccer and washed out training sessions, the combinations and friendships in the side continue to evolve and become stronger, which makes guiding them a pleasure. They are most enjoyable young men to be around . But none of this could be, without the best set of parents of any side in the Shire. Thank you to you for the tireless efforts to getting the boys to where they needed to be, from the rain at Como, to the mud at Woronora to the freezing BR3 training sessions to the gale winds at Gymea. We thank you all . See you all on the BR1 next year

What a fantastic season! It has been an honour to coach, manage and watch these brilliant, young ladies improve each week. After a not so good 2021 season (we only won one game), these girls came together and showed us what they really were capable of. Anna was still our defensive rock. Always calm and reliable as our centre back, she would clear the ball from the backline whenever we needed it. Annalise continued to improve this season. Playing on either the left or right half, she consistently followed instructions and always put in 100% effort. Bronte our centre mid, showed great control with the ball. We managed to score a number of our goals from Bronte’s powerful and accurate corners (phenomenal – if you ask her school teacher). Charli M is another one of centres. She is amazing with the ball at her feet, scoring multiple goals again this season, but always backed up in defence when needed. Charli W is our goalkeeper. She Back Row L to R: Belinda Whitbread (Coach), Kayla Adra, Peyton Shaw, Grace Culbert, improved and gained confidence Ella-Jae James, Veronica Homola, Anna Fleming, Martin Homola (Manager) every week. Other teams commented Front Row L to R: Charli Moses, Heidi Bont, Riley Pallister, Charli Whitbread, Bronte Whitbread, Annalise Panayiotou, Eleanor Hughes how brave she is, saving many goals and coming away with a stack of clean sheets. Ellie was our new recruit, playing up an age group and we are glad she came to join us. Ellie is our utility player, filling in wherever we needed her. On the wings and in the centre. Despite being our baby and smallest player in the team, she was fearless and never backed away from a tackle. Ella-Jae is another one of our backs. She is a quiet achiever, always solid in defence, she helped stop a number of goals and patiently cleared the ball from our defensive line. Grace - After playing up an age group in 2021, Grace was back and once again becoming our goal scoring machine. Consistently calm and patient up front, she only needed half a chance and she’d find the back of the net. Heidi was moved around a bit this season and I think we finally found her position on the wings. Using her speed, she would race up front but also drop back and help when the defensive line need her. Kayla was another one of our quiet achievers with a great left foot. We were so excited to see Kayla score her first goal this season and to prove it wasn’t a fluke she scored again the next two weeks. Peyton was our right fullback. Her awesome throw-ins and great clearances from the back line put us on the front foot in attack. Riley our ultra-competitive Riley. We love Riley’s determination and confident attitude. Although she loves playing up front she is strong and skilful in defence always wanting to get the ball and never backing away from a tackle. Ronnie is another one of our fullbacks. She would play on the left, right and in the centre, wherever she was need. Ronnie could clear the ball out of the backline when needed, but also very composed with the ball at her feet. If they kept tables in the MiniRoos, these girls would have been up top, with only 2 losses the entire season. We can’t wait for next season, so in preparation for ‘proper’ competition we asked the girls input for team awards and they voted the following: Players Player – Bronte Most Improved – Ellie Coaches award - Annalise I’d also like to thank all our parents, grandparents and families who supported the girls throughout the season and put up with my constant yelling.

In late August , right after the end of the regular season, W11A won the North Sutherland Rockets Hosted U11s Gala day. Congratulations to the team on such a great effort.

Even though it was a U11C stop/start season with all the rainfall we had and training and games cancelled, it was great to get 13 games in. The boys had fun and gave it their all every week. Everyone was supportive of each other and encouraging when things weren't always going our way. The team had their heads held high even though trailing in the first halves. Great to see them rally together to get some good wins. Thanks to the parents who brought their kids on time and ready to play with a good attitude and communicated very well throughout the season when not available or late etc. A big Thank you to Dario for taking the time to Coach this season, always encouraging the players to do their best and never a harsh word said to them. Much appreciated. Great to be part of a well organised club, full credit to the Sylvania Heights FC committee.

U11E The boys have had a great season fighting hard and putting in their best effort. While the weather played havoc with the training schedule and some of our games, the team played really well together. It was great to see the boys improving their game each week, keeping the pressure on the opposition, and celebrating their wins. I was extremely proud of how they played this year, regardless of the outcome they enjoyed the game and had a great attitude. Callan playing goalie second half saved so many goals during the year. Chris played up front and scored plenty of goals supported by fantastic assists and teamwork. Dominic fought hard all season, always getting involved and scoring a few goals when playing up front. Flynn was a champion defender improving on his game every week, with a great passing game. Jason played all over the park this year, showing just how versatile he is with his skills. Jayden defended really well this year and pushed up into the mid field with a great passing game. Mikel ended up moving throughout the year but was a great first half goalie during his time with the team. Niko brought his big left boot setting up the forwards and delivered some killer corner kicks. Ollie has a fantastic passing game this season and stood up in goals when required. Quinn ran and ran and ran in the middle, using his skills keep the pressure on the opposition. Spencer playing much of the game up forward or in the middle, with some brilliant goals assist and a several goals of his own William had a great year playing mostly in the mid field and pushing forward when the opportunity arose. Xavier is a natural defender shutting down many opposition attacks and setting up our offensive game from the back line Thanks to all the parents for their support and the dads for having a run on a Thursday night with the boys, looking forward to 2023!
