SHIRE PREMIER LEAGUE
In late 2021, a number of Clubs formed a working party to explore the reintroduction of a Men’s and Women’s Premier League competition in the Sutherland Shire for the 2022 season. The introduction of the Shire Premier League Men’s and Women’s competitions replaced the All Age 1s and 2 and Senior Women’s A (SWA) competitions.

The Premier League Men’s (PLM) is based on Clubs having both a First Grade and Reverse Grade squad and the Premier League Women’s (PLW) competition consists of a First Grade only.
The Shire Premier League competition serves as the pinnacle of community based football and provides an opportunity for juniors to participate in a top level competition in the local area.
SHFC was proud to be one of only 3 Clubs that fielded teams in the Mens 1st grade, Reserve grade and Women’s competitions.
SHFC looks forward to continuing its participation in the Shire Premier League in the coming years.
