STAFFING CHANGES

AT GREATER SYDNEY CONFERENCE

1. Pr Cheonneth Strickland

Cheonneth Strickland is taking on the role of general secretary, a position that became vacant after Pastor Adrian Raethel was appointed president of the North NSW Conference. Pastor Strickland has worked in the Greater Sydney Conference for the past 21 years.

2. Pr Nataniel Pereira

Pastor Nataniel Pereira retired as ministerial association secretary at the end of 2019. He served the Greater Sydney Conference for over 30 years. This is the only conference he has served in. Pr Pereira looks forward to continuing to serve God and spending time with his family.

3. Pr Alban Matohiti

Pastor Alban Matohiti replaces Pastor Nataniel Pereira as ministerial secretary. Pr Matohiti served on the pastoral team at Wahroonga church for the past 12 years and previously worked as a church planter, church pastor and acting president of the Albanian Mission.

4. Dr Jean Carter

Dr Jean Carter has retired from the Greater Sydney Conference after 21 years of service. Prior to serving as Executive Director of Education for the past 10 years, she served as Associate Executive Director of Education for two years, and in our local schools for nine years. In this new chapter of life, Dr Carter will be serving future educators as a lecturer at Avondale University College.

5. Pr Richard Reid

Pastor Richie Reid joins the conference this year as Director of Spiritual Care - Chaplains for Greater Sydney Schools. In addition to leading our school's spiritual wellbeing, Pr Reid will serve as a chaplain for Wahroonga Adventist School.
