Rising Tide sinks Maroons

The Tide swelled on Saturday, leading Galax to hoist the Region 1C championship trophy on Pendleton Field.

The Maroon Tide edged the Maroons 1714 to keep their season rolling and bringing to an end a memorable season for the boys from Wytheville. The win pits Galax against Honaker in the state semifinal contest with a shot at the state title game in Salem on the line.
