I've made my own reality TV show that was shown on ABC's The Fat, starred in over 200 commercials, wrote I Only Take What's Mine which went Platinum in 1986, got kicked off Celebrity Big Brother, appeared on the front cover of Penthouse three times, made my own adult video (XXX Capper), worked as a male escort and have appeared on practically every Australian TV show including The AFL Footy Show, Rove and Sunrise. 25 Cheap and Easy Travel Tips Many may associate ‘cheap travel’ with backpacking, dodgy hostels, questionable personal hygiene and carrying around dozens of stolen rolls of toilet paper. Well, those cheap travellers are absolutely right! Get ready to have some fun with these great super-tight travel tips.

If you’re going to pay for a hotel or hostel, get your money’s worth. Make the most of your complimentary items including mini soaps and shampoos.

Ditch the expensive deodorant and your shaving razor too. You’ll cut down on your costs, and your musk and scruffy appearance will give you the authentic aura of a ‘wild spirited traveller’.

Book some of the Lesser Known Airlines. They’re often cheaper, and are apparently more trustworthy anyway, according to the most recent hype on the news channels. Get creative with the wearing of your underwear. Do you really need to wash every pair after you’ve worn them once? Backwards, inside out, and inside out backwards are all acceptable options. Once it’s time to give them a wash, take them into the shower/bath/ocean (depending on the bathing option you’ve selected for yourself) with you and give them a quick rinse. Bonus points if you hang them on your backpack or out the car window to dry.

Opt for recyclable and reusable EVERYTHING. Water bottles, food containers, travel companions...

While it’s all good and well to want to save money, be EXTREMELY cautious if you hitch-hike with strangers, even if they seem friendly. Nobody wants to end up like the kids on Wolf Creek.

Try and get accommodation with breakfast included– eat heaps for breakfast and stock up on as many muffins, bagels, slices of toast and hard boiled eggs you can have in one sitting.

Deciding on who picks up the bill at a restaurant should be done with an arm wrestle. However, only introduce this rule if you’ve been drinking your protein shakes religiously lately.

Live like a rock star - and save money too! Staple diets are the newest celebrity craze to hit Hollywood. You can give your cheap feeds a fancy name like "the baked beans diet" and convince everyone that it's really helping you lose weight.
10. Tinned food should quickly become your best friend. It’s cheap, convenient and generally safe, provided you’re in a country where you can read the language, and don’t accidentally end up with cat food instead of baked beans.
11. Keep an eye on the news, and visit
countries immediately after a crisis has occurred to take advantage of a weak currency and fewer tourists. Waiting until the riots and looting have finished is entirely optional, but probably desirable.
12. Ask for student discounts everywhere.
Some people may not even ask for an ID. If you look older than 35, and somebody questions you, launch into a loud rant about how society these days is horribly discriminatory against mature-age students.
13. In some situations, birthdays are a valid
form of currency. If you’re travelling with a group of friends, take turns to pretend you’re the birthday boy or girl in restaurants and hostel bars. Your acting skills may be rewarded with free desserts, drinks or shots from your fellow travellers or operators.

14. Avoid tourist destinations, they can be a
rip off – instead ask for the help of locals to find out the regulars prices for purchases.
15. Haggle. If you consider yourself to be a
rather skilled negotiator, try it everywhere you think you can get away with it. Remember that the worst thing the lady at the Hilton reception desk can say is “get out or I’m calling the police”.
16. Save money on souvenirs and gifts for
people by photographing them instead. Just keep in mind that you'll have to be in good shape when a street vendor chases you through the streets for photographing his miniature Colosseum replicas.
17. If you must buy a Lonely Planet or other
travel guide, at least put it to good use. Use it to prop up a wobbly bed leg, as a steady surface for your laptop, or as a weapon if you get mugged in an alleyway.

Take some time to research local laws. You don't want to throw away money on fines (or worse get arrested) for chewing gum in Singapore, taking Panadeine to Greece or spitting on a New York Subway (throwing up is apparently fine).

Book airlines in advance, but hotels last-minute. If you don’t mind where you stay, many hotels are actually cheaper if you book at short-notice but for popular events, like sporting matches or music festivals, you might have to book early to get a good rate.
20. International calling cards. You can use them with your mobile or in your hotel room. You'll also feel less bad about using your friend's phone to call home.
21. Research how much a taxi should cost between certain destinations WELL in advance, to avoid being ripped off by dodgy taxi drivers.
22. Walk like an Egyptian – ok, well maybe just eat like one. Try to eat where the locals eat and avoid overpriced tourist restaurants.
23. ASK for things – hotel upgrades, free
breakfasts, the tour guide operator’s phone number. You haven’t got anything to lose except your dignity - and that's only until you leave the room.
24. Be flexible. You’ll need to be able to
squish into those tiny hostel beds and crowded public buses and trains. Oh, also be flexible with your dates. Prices for airfares and accommodation vary greatly from one day to the next, especially during weekends.
25. When travelling long distances, double
up on accommodation with your travel schedule. Opt overnight buses/ trains – you pay more for the travel but save on a bed for the night.

How I Became a Legend People think that being this good looking is easy - but let me tell you, being famous is some serious hard work. Everyone always says "Warwick, you were born with so much talent," to which I reply, "Yeah. That's true."
A look back on the life and times
of the Man, the Legend, the KING, Warwick Capper.
1963 On 12 June, Warwick Capper, future AFL footie legend is born in Oakleigh, Victoria. 1971 Capper begins playing footie for the Oakleigh Dragons Youth Club alongside future star David Rhys Jones. 1974 Capper takes home the Under-11s Best and Fairest for this team, giving him his first taste of his true legendary potential. 1983 At the age of 20, Capper is recruited to the recently relocated South Melbourne Football Club - now known as the Sydney Swans. On the field, Warwick becomes renowned for his look and eccentric personality, always appearing in tight shorts, white boots and keeping a head of lustrous long blond hair - not to mention driving around in his pink Ferrari. He finishes runner up for the Coleman Medal 2 years in a row. 1985 With his escalating popularity on the field, Capper, or Wazza as he became known, began building his profile off the field. He releases a single I Only Take What's Mine to launch his singing career. (Not a bad start with Platinum status and 300,000 copies sold, but sadly it was his only musical hit of his short lived career).

1991 Wazza returns to play for Sydney for one more season, kicking 38 goals in 13 games to wind up his professional footy career. 1986 Wazza makes a guest appearance on the soap Neighbours, joining the many other Australian celebrities that had their successful career start on Ramsay St! 1987 Capper earns Mark of the Year for his stunning season performance, kicking 103 goals in 23 games. Capper recalls the year fondly - taking part in a charity auction, where his "dirty" footy shorts raised a whopping $25,000 for cancer, he tells ABC news. 1988 Wazza weds Joanne Norris in what the tabloids call "the wedding of the year". Not one to disappoint, Capper decks himself out in skin and leather (an outfit that cost $5000 to be made - which he still claims to have). His lavish spending and outrageous lifestyle becomes renowned. Capper moves to the Brisbane Bears signing a three year contract for a whopping $350,000, becoming the highest paid player in the league. However, his performance with the Bears was a bit lacklustre, kicking only 71 goals in 34 games. In an interview, Warwick remembers it as "probably the worst time of my life".
1992 Capper retires and returns to Queensland to play semi-professionally for the Southport Sharks while he continues to work on his celebrity profile, making numerous appearances. Wazza and Joanne have their only son, Indiana.
2008 Wazza makes a home sex tape with 25 year old girlfriend that he sells to an adult-video distribution company for a reported six-figure sum. In an interview, Wazza likens himself to "Australia's Paris Hilton".
1993 Capper poses with his wife Joanne in an explicit photo shoot in Australia's Penthouse Magazine. Capper makes his (un-credited) big screen appearance as the "Braindead Prisoner" in the movie Fortress starring Christopher Lambert. He continues to make appearances regularly on TV shows such as the AFL Footy Show.
2009 Capper announces his candidacy for MP and his intention to stand against Pauline Hanson. Unfortunately, he fails to register in time. He begins a career as a $1500 a night male escort.
2002 Wazza is a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother where he is ejected by producers for exposing himself to fellow housemate, Kimberley Cooper. 2005 Capper releases his autobiography, Fool Forward. He and his wife Joanne officially split up, making tabloid headlines. Wazza trades in his short shorts for a stint as a lollipop man for a reported $16.50 an hour. 2007 Warwick joins the famous Surfers Paradise Meter Maids, feeding expired parking metres along the tourist strip.
Later in the year, Warwick "Hollywood" Capper competes in a celebrity boxing match against Wendell Sailor - rather than being knocked out, Capper calls it quits 53 seconds into the third round.
2010 Warwick Capper is Cheap and Easy (but we all knew that!), and becomes a viral YouTube sensation with almost 60,000 views (as of Nov 2010) of his TV commercials for Quickbeds.com. He also makes an appearance at Sydney's 2010 Sexpo.
