Taking centre stage in the film is a small note book, an ordinary exercise book with fancy racing cars on the cover. But in place of vocabulary, its pages are filled with courageous testimonies by 300 Central African women and girls. They reveal what was done to them by Congolese mercenary soldiers in the course of military dis putes in October 2002. The notebook is their self-made piece of evidence to indict the crimes of rape committed against them.
