The Psychology of Serial Killers at the Wyvern Theatre

Swindon people will be given the chance to join true crime speaker Jennifer Rees on Sunday 5 February, and learn more about serial killers.

The show will start at 7.30pm, and aims to cover how serial killers are classified, to debunk common myths about them, as well as investigating killer couples, why women fall in love with serial killers, and how ‘John and Jane Does’ are identified.

Jennifer Rees will use case studies of some recognisable serial killers to illustrate her points.

Megaslam Wrestling 2023 Live Tour at Swindon’s MECA

Sunday 12 February will see the Megaslam Wrestling 2023 Live Tour stop off at the MECA in Swindon.

The show will start at 3pm, with doors opening at 2pm. A spokesperson for the show said: “This 2023 Live Tour will feature your favourite Megaslam stars and some brand new ones in this two-hour family entertainment spectacular!

“Team Megaslam take on Team Nasty in a series of highenergy matches, designed to get the little ones out of their seats and cheering on their favourites! Megaslam, established in 2009 is THE Number 1 Live Experience for Families.”

Secret Sunday Sessions with Mickelson, at the Victoria

American alternative folk/rock artist Mickelson, will be performing at the Victoria for its intimate ‘Secret Sunday’ session on 26 February.

The event will run from 7pm - 10.30pm.

Scott Mickelson is an artist and producer, originally from San Francisco.

Ahead of a string of UK tour dates in February, he has recently released a new single - ‘Only Grey Matter Boiling In My Head.’

The track sees Mickelson joined by XTC’s Colin Moulding on bass.

The tour sees Mickelson perform with his UK-based bandmates Jon Buckett and Lee Moulding. The band will also be accompanied by Ian Taylor.
