Sisters on the run
A second eight week runningcourse for women starts on Tuesday 6 October between 7pm and 8pm at the Alamo, County Ground Complex in Swindon.
The course is being run by Thamesdown Council's Lifestyle Unit and is part of the Reebok/Running Magazine Sisters Network which promotes fitness, fun and *friendship and promises that 'No woman is too old, too fat, or too slow to run with us.'

Minis take to the field again
Young rugby players are back in training at Wootton Basset rugby club on Stoneover Lane. Boys and girls can play together up to the age of twelve and there are teams from children at every age group for under 7s to under 12s. Training sessions take place on Sundays between lOam and 1130am and there are matches against other clubs every three weeks.

In addition to Lincoln's Camp, there are plenty of other activities for each day of the holidays. Between lOamIlameach day (excluding Wednesdays) we have our 'Freestyle' session in the pool where floats, rafts, games and watersports are all on offer- anything goes within reason. A night out for a good cause
Carriages At Three, the bailgown hire shop situated in The Suit Company on Swindon's Canal Walk is regularly asked to put on fashion shows at local hotels, community or school halls. An evening of excitement, glamour and some ideas for the wardrobe always results.
Over the last two years several local charities have benefited by £7,000. It has cost them very little; all they had to do was sell the tickets.
The team of male and female models, of all ages and all sizes, give their time frwly and spend many hours in rehearsals to perfect their routines and put on a great show.
There are three coming up: • 9 October at the Crosslink Centre, Kingsdown, for the Raychem Netball Club • 15 October at the Dunbar Club, Ocotal Way, for the Koalas playgroup forchildren with special needs • 18 Octoberat the Blunsdon House Hotel for the Cats Protection League.
