New update on continuing transformation around Fleming Way

Work to transform Fleming Way in the town centre is continuing to take shape.

Visitors to the area will have recently seen new hoarding appear on The Parade, outside H&M.

This fencing was put in place to protect residents and visitors to the town centre as contractor Colas began demolition work on the retail unit and formertravel shop next to the subway under the road. The demolition should last a few more weeks. The subway remains open for use throughout this work, as does H&M and access to the rest of the retail centre.
