Author Details: Paula Reid is a barrister and a partner in A&L Goodbody Solicitors. She has considerable experience in advising businesses on anti-money laundering issues and has spoken extensively on this topic. She is the co-author with Michael Ashe SC, QC of Money Laundering: Risks, Liabilities and Compliance, 2nd edition FirstLaw, 2007. Michael Ashe QC is a practising member of the Bars of Ireland and of Northern Ireland. He is the author of International Tracing of Assets (joint editor) (Sweet & Maxwell,1998); Insider Trading (joint author) (2nd ed. Tolley, London 1993); Injunctions (joint editor) (4th ed. Halsbury’s Laws of England, Butterworths, London 1993) and Money (4th ed. Halsbury’s Laws of England, Butterworths, 1980). He is on the Editorial Board of the Company Lawyer and of the Commercial Law Practitioner.
