Summary in English: "To be humble is not to make comparisons,” writes Dag Hammarskjöld in his book Markings. As the Olympics approach, Maria Thorsson, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran Church in Toronto and mobile priest for all of North America, reflects on the importance of distinguishing between the value derived from specific achievements and that intrinsic to all human beings.
