Please, Do Come In And Enjoy

Dear Friends, In this my sixth digital magazine, I bring together 100 of my favorite Paris exterior overdoors. Each visit to Paris is spent with 8 to 10 hours a day on my feet walking the city to capture the beautiful old architectural details. Doors and overdoors are my preferred subjects. Most overdoors are of cherubs, angels, male and female faces or lion grotesques. I believe I have around 7,000 images. I hope you enjoy what I have captured and share the beauty I have found. I am not sure there is a building in Paris that does not have an overdoor. It just seems like that was an architectural requirement.

Swede

I am constantly seeking beauty to capture and hold dear. These images show patina at its finest as only Paris can do. Most photo backdrops behind the overdoors on each page are created from photos of flowers and paintings I took in Paris also.
