Check if your air conditioning is working or needs servicing. Remember on hot days to stay hydrated by always drinking plenty of water.

Home Care Packages The Australian Government’s Home Care Package Program is helping people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

SWCC clients like Bob are experiencing the wonderful benefits of being supported by a Home Care Package. Bob was recently a recipient of a new Gopher and has regained his freedom and independence. If you see Bob ’hooning’ on the streets of Harvey, give him a wave and check out his new wheels.

MEN’S SHED Harvey

L– R Bill James, Michael Kenny, Ian Jackson

For the last few months Men’s Shed member Ian Jackson has been applying his skills to building a planter box at the Eden Grove site in Harvey. A small planter box was originally built for the Eaton office and it was decided that the Harvey site needed one.

The planter box is being used to grow vegetables and herbs that can be utilised by our cook in the preparation of the meals provided to clients.
