Waiting List If a program has reached its maximum number of registrants, express your interest by adding your name to the waiting list. If a space becomes available or an additional class is added, you will be notified.

Withdrawals

If you withdrawal from a class at least 7 days before the start date, a $10 cancellation fee, per registration will be applied to your refund or credit. No refund or credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than 7 days from the start date or after a program starts except for medical reasons (physician’s note required). Withdrawal from a prgram for medical reasons after the program has started, will be effective from the date of the note and a refund will be provided for remaining classes in the program.

Cancellations All classes are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. Registrants will be notified as soon as a decision has been made to cancel a class. In the case that the field house cancels a class, you will recieve a full refund or you may transfer to aother class if space permits.

Start the week off right every Monday enjoying a Rebel Bean coffee or tea, treat (breakfast pastry, yogurt and berry cup) and juice box for the little one while you visit with new and old friends. Then let your little’s burn off steam in our parent and tot playtime drop in.

Wee Play (parented)

Wee Play classes will have your little one kicking, jumping, throwing, running and interacting with other children in a fun, safe environment. The class encourages gross motor development in a program designed to support your childs growth at his or her own pace. This is a parented class and siblings under 18 months are welcome to attend at no charge.

Wee Yogis (Parented) Wee yogis have so much fun posing and connecting with their role models. Fun music, props and creative partner poses will keep you both smiling as we discover yoga together! Instructor: Shawna Zylstra

This action packed class is perfect for the preschooler that can't sit still! Sports, active games, hopping, jumping, skipping, bouncy castle, crafts, stories and outdoor play will make sure they come home tired out.

Experience the fun of making edible creations without having to use an oven. Each class children will mix, blend, and stir up delicious concoctions and bring home the recipe so they can re-create for the family. Yum!

This unparented class will be the perfect introduction for your 2 (or newly 3) to enjoy stories, creative play, crafts and games without you for the first time. They will learn to participate in a class/group environment and be so proud to share the new songs and crafts they have learned.

Is your 2 (or newly 3) year old a non-stop whirlwind of energy? Children andTeen Creative Arts Programs + Creative Chaos (6-10 years) Where creativity abounds you will always find a little chaos! This program includes a little science, construction and art. Using an array of different materials such as paint, chalk, charcoal, clay and hands on experiments your child will have the opportunity to express their creativity and we take care of the chaos. Famous Artists (8-12 year s)

Kids will look at the work of a particular artist (eg. Mother/ Daughter S a fe t y C l a s s ( 9 - 1 2 years) A powerful combination of the SafeAdults and SafeTeen program, the Mother Daughter session is a great bonding opportunity for tweens and parents. Parents will be confident their teen has the skills to protect themselves in the outside world and they learn the skills themselves. City of Calgary Police members facilitate this session. Babysitting Course (11+ years)

The Babysitting course, refreshed and revised, now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency. Students receive a certificate and book. Seniors have unique challenges and concerns in regards to their personal safety. Mobility and strength issues, vulnerability, and exposure to unfamiliar caregivers. In the SafeSenior class, participants will learn specific strategies and mindset skills to avoid or escape a potentially risky situation. Family Ping Pong Tournament (7+ years)

Grab a parent or grandparent and join in on some friendly ping pong tournament fun! Each team must consist of 1 adult and 1 child/teen. Registration fee is per family (1 adult and 1 minor) includes prizes for top three teams in each age division and lunch. Minimum games dependant on number of registrations. This is a “recreational� tournament and basic table tennis rules will be used (see attachment for rules).
