At SVSU, students in any academic program may participate in the Undergraduate Research Program starting their freshman year. Enhance your learning and further your education by exploring opportunities to engage in grantfunded undergraduate research. Lead your own project or work alongside supportive faculty. Moot Court Director Advisor for Law Club

Julie Keil is the founder and co-advisor of the SVSU Moot Court team. SVSU’s Moot Court program has never missed a national championship qualification since Keil founded the group in 2010. In 2023, the Moot Court team is ranked #20 in the country. Students work as a team to prepare oral arguments and/or legal briefs and then compete in regional and national tournaments. Most Moot Court students go on to law school, and all agree it helped them develop the confidence to excel.
