Upper School Review
BY STEPHANIE WEHRER
Mrs Gezley’s 7th grade science classes have been studying the states of matter They made oobleck, and observed its characteristics They noted that the substance has characteristics of both a solid and a liquid, and finally determined it was classified as a Non-Newtonian fluid. Way to go, 7th grade scientists!
Monday night was our Baseball Buddy and Softball Slugger night at the TRA sports complex. Players from both the baseball and softball teams have been visiting with their elementary friends over the last few weeks, playing games with them and just spending time fellowshiping with our younger students. We say it often, the opportunities for peer relationships from the lower school all the way up to the high school, is absolutely one of the most wonderful blessings about being part of the TRA community

Next week, students in grades 6 through 9 will be taking either the ERB Comprehensive Assessment for standardized testing, or the PreACT Sixth through seventh grade, will be taking the ERB, while 8th and 9th will take the PreACT.
ERB tests will be administered to 6th and 7th grade on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during 1st Block, Homeroom, and 2nd Block.
The PreACT will be administered to 8th and 9th grade on Tuesday during 1st Block, Homeroom, and 2nd Block.
Students will still go to break on testing days, but encourage your child to be at their best on these days by getting a good night’s sleep, eating a good breakfast, and arriving at school on time.
Please also help your child’s teacher, by reminding him or her to charge their computers on Sunday night. Prayers for all of our students to have clear minds, to focus, and do as well as we know they will!
