Lower School Review

We are winding down this year and about to head into the home stretch! We are headed into a fast and furious last five weeks. First up on our calendar is the Project R12 Water Walk, which is next Friday, April 21. This will be a fun event which will raise money for the children of Uganda. Details will be sent home soon on times, lunch plans, etc. Thank you so much for supporting this fundraiser and supporting the children of Uganda. Most of all, thank you for teaching your child the importance of helping others in need. Mrs. Amy Henning will also “kiss the cow” on this day as being the winner of the track / cross country team fundraiser We can’t wait!
We will be administering our ERB standardized assessments the week of April 24 Elementary students in grades 1-5 will be taking the CTP (Comprehensive Testing Program). The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) is a rigorous assessment for students, covering reading, listening, vocabulary, writing, mathematics, and science. Verbal and quantitative reasoning subtests are part of the CTP beginning in Grade 3. The CTP helps educators assess content specific, curriculum-based performance alongside reasoning ability and conceptual knowledge. More information, including testing times, etc., will be sent home next week. There will be NO LATE START WEDNESDAY, April 26, due to testing
WE WILL CELEBRATE OUR BASEBALL BUDDIES AND SOFTBALL SLUGGERS ON MONDAY, APRIL 17. THIS WILL BE A FUN NIGHT FOR OUR BOYS AND GIRLS! SEE YOU ALL THERE!
SOFTBALL SLUGGERS: STUDENTS NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE SOFTBALL FIELD NO LATER THAN 5:30 FOR A 5:40 RUN OUT WITH THEIR PLAYER.
BASEBALL BUDDIES: STUDENTS NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE BASEBALL FIELD NO LATER THAN 6:05 FOR A 6:15 RUN OUT WITH THEIR PLAYER.
