Lower School Review
BY SUSAN CRANFORD
What a busy week we are having as we prepare for what is my most favorite special day on campus! Friday is Grandparents’ Day, and we cannot wait to see our grandparents on campus with the little people they love most! What a love it is! Thank you to Mrs. Samantha Pence for her hard work in preparing for this day!
Mrs. Amy Henning did my favorite room transformation this week. She did the surgery room, and the kids LOVED it! Students were given roles as the surgeon, the stitcher, transport etc., and they took these jobs seriously They did “surgery” on paper people, and the operations all involved reviewing reading skills learned this nine weeks. What a fun way to review for the end of the nine weeks!
If you get a chance ride, around the back of the elementary school and look at our playground! We have completed the final phase of it, and it now has all rubber mat or turf surfacing. It is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!! and we are so PROUD of it! Our boys and girls are loving it! Our teachers are, too! Thanks again to the Robinson Foundation and to Chris and Amanda Loudenbeck for making this so nice!
PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILD’S NAME IN ALL JACKETS, SWEATERS AND PULLOVERS. WE HAVE LOTS OF LOST AND FOUND ITEMS THAT DO NOT HAVE A NAME IN THEM. ALSO REMEMBER THAT HOODIES ARE ALLOWED ONLY ON FRIDAYS. THE ONLY SWEATSHIRTS AND 1/4 ZIPS ALLOWED FOR DAILY WEAR ARE THE ONES WITH THE TR LOGO ONLY ON THE UPPER LEFT CHEST.
