Lower School Review

BY SUSAN CRANFORD

Everyone had a great time celebrating our grandparents at Grandparent’s Day before Spring Break. The programs were wonderful and the grands also loved visiting the classrooms. The love on campus that day was evident everywhere you looked. There is nothing like the love between a grandparent and a grandchild! They sure do make life “grand” for each other!

Lots of fun is taking place in the elementary school this week. Our PreK-4 students celebrated letter “P” with pajamas, popcorn and Pete the Cat. This sounds like the perfect day!

In Steam this week, students did a rainbow walking water experiment. They talked about cause and effect and what happens over time while paper towel strips sit in colored water. They also made rainbow paper by “catching a rainbow” in a bowl of water. They loved this activity!

OUR PREK-2 AND PREK-3 STUDENTS CELEBRATED ST. PATRICK’S DAY A LITTLE LATE ON MONDAY. THEY HAD “LUCKY” SNACKS, TALKED ABOUT WHAT MAKES THEM “LUCKY” AND DID SOME FUN ART WORK, TOO!

OUR 2023 SUMMER CAMP BROCHURE IS ON OUR WEBSITE. CHECK IT OUT FOR TONS OF FUN CAMPS YOUR CHILD WOULD LOVE TO ATTEND THIS SUMMER!
