Sunrise at ASU
The purpose of Sunrise ASU is to spread awareness of the hazards and dangers of climate change for Arizona and its people, promote equitable solutions to the climate crisis, fight the influence of fossil fuel companies and their executives on Arizona politics, help elect strong progressive leaders, and advocate for bold plans to mitigate the Climate Crisis.
This will be accomplished by engaging students through public events in addition to holding club meetings that follow the procedures of the national movement and possibly having outside guests.

First official club meeting: September 3, 2020 at 5:00 PM. We will be planning protests, political actions, and sustainability projects
