Barrett Sustainability Club

Barrett Sustainability Club contributes to Barrett’s sustainable culture by adapting into the virtual space, rather than being an in-person events-based club. BSC is a club where students are given the time to think critically together about complex problems using sustainability competencies. We hope this will encourage them to continuously learn about the processes and interactions between issues in our world. This club will primarily serve as an educational resource, through email and social media presence, while also creating the space for students to learn alongside one another through our Zoom General Meetings. In addition to transferring the events-based nature of our club, we now have the opportunity to revisit some base foundational imbalances that must be addressed in the Sage Garden. For the Sage Garden, we hope to make the garden stable for future garden leadership, through capacity building and building relationship networks.
