As a care provider, you store and share important and often sensitive information. Keeping your paper and digital information safe is key to running a care service people can trust.
You can protect your business, your service users and your staff from data losses and take steps towards protecting yourself from cyber attacks by completing your Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

All CQC registered social care providers in England should complete and publish their DSPT at least once a year and yet over 60% of home care providers in Sussex do not comply. Publishing your DSPT is easier than you think as you already take care your data and cyber security arrangements and will probably have most of the policies and procedures in place.
DSPT will help you evidence your compliance to the CQC and the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) but most importantly, it will help you identify any gaps in your arrangements.
If you need any help or support, you can not only attend one of our free webinars but we can provide significant (and free) one to one support at a time that suits you.
Alternatively, if you have a DSPT question you are not sure about, just email us and we will provide an answer.
Our next session on DSPT is on 30th May at 2.30pm.
