WARNING Before starting an inspection, be sure to clear the weapon. Do not squeeze the trigger until the weapon has been cleared. Inspect the chamber to ensure that it is empty and no ammunition is in position to be chambered. Do not keep live ammunition near work area. Use only blank M200 with the BFA and DO NOT fire directly at anyone less than 20 feet away. To be considered SAFE before disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, transporting, or storing, the weapon must be cleared. With the bolt carrier assembly locked to the rear or in its forward position, if the weapon is dropped or jarred with a loaded magazine in place, it could chamber a round. When your weapon is loaded, ensure it is pointed in a safe direction. Do not load with a hot chamber.
