MAKING DRINKS: WHAT IS NANO-ENCAPSULATION?

For thousands of years, cannabis has been used in beverage preparations and considered in the halls of antiquity to be “food of the gods”. Some of the earliest writings of cannabis associated with drinking were discovered in India, China, Persia, and Russia. Most of the cannabis beverages historically consist of boiling or grinding cannabis leaves into a powder and combining with milk or alcohol for a synergistic effect. The formulations have come a long way since then.

There are a number of technical challenges associated with incorporating cannabis oil into beverages, one is that cannabis oil cannot be readily dissolved in water.
