WHITE ROCK — The City by the Sea has a new record holder for highest listed residential property for sale – an $18-million mansion on Marine Drive. The property, a 14,500-square-foot, six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion, sprawls one-and-a-half acres with views right on the city’s oceanfront and tops the second-highest listed property by $4 million. According to the listing’s realtor, Greg Fraser, the house was built in 2009 and this is the first time it’s been put on the market. Whether or not the mansion will fetch the asking price is uncertain but Fraser notes that the highest-selling property in the city was a $12-million home also located on Marine Drive. That property was sold in 2007 by his office, Homelife Benchmark Realty. “There’s a group of these properties and they’re the only group in a row, there’s 18 in a row and they’re all an acre-and-a-half in size,” said Fraser. see MANSION › page 6
