SENIOR CENTER MEMBERSHIP
For citizens ages 50 and better $12 Surprise Resident / $15 Non-Resident (Renewable each July 1st)
Fitness Center Membership
A yearly fee of $30 for Surprise Residents, $35 for Non-Surprise Residents. Fitness advice and usage of exercise equipment will be provided prior to individuals participating. A doctor’s waiver is required prior to the start of workout.

Have a Hot Lunch on Hollyhock Street
A nutritious hot lunch is served Monday through Friday at 12 noon. The meal program is designed for adults age 60 and better, and adults with disabilities. The suggested contribution is $2.50 per meal. Patrons between the ages of 50-59 that do not qualify the suggested contribution of $5.00 per meal. Reservations are required and must be made by noon, TWO business days in advance. The Congregate Meal Program is sponsored, in part, by the Area Agency on Aging, Region 1.
Fitzi with Mitzi Exercise
Have fun while experiencing a structured, low impact aerobics in a safe and supervised environment (signed waiver required.) Monday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. Class is held at the Villanueva Recreation Center. FREE.
SilverSneakers®
Improve your overall well-being in a structured, safe and supervised environment. Free with Silversneakers, Senior Center or Gym membership. Tuesday and Friday at 11 a.m. Class is held at the Villanueva Recreation Center.
Stretch Flex and Tone
With stretches drawn from Yoga and sports stretching. The class will focus on deep breathing, joint openers, core stability, balance and relaxation. All levels of experience welcomed. Senior Center or Gym membership required. Thursdays at 1 p.m. Classes are held at the Villanueva Recreation Center.
A wide variety of daily programs, life-long learning classes and multiple wellness programs are offered each month that include: • Special interest classes (Crafts, Art, etc.) • Card games (Pinochle, Bridge, etc.) • Group Game (Bunco, Maj-Jongg, Pokeno) • Quilting/Sewing Club • Weekly Tournaments (Billiards, Corn Hole, etc.) • Open Recreation
