Most parents have great fantasies about who their children will grow up to be, musicians, scientists, linguists, or taking up a trade that may have run through generations of an imbalanced masculine legacy. They fantasise having endless moments of playing the perfect family, with happy faces and sunlight dappling through the windows.

I believe it comes as a great epiphany or shock to the parent, that the child they have, whom they think belongs to them, actually has their own will. Children have an indomitable spirit, and an unending resolve to manifest their own truth. When we realise that as much as we are here to teach them, they are here to be our teachers, that they were born to be set free to reach a horizon that our eye cannot fathom and our feet can never reach. Every parent needs to remember their child is a unique being with their own voice. When we raise our children to be who WE want them to be, we take ownership over their lives. It’s time to release control and awaken as conscious parents.

It is time to change the parenting paradigm.

As an ‘infertile woman’ in a foreign country, Nicaragua, in a world pandemic, I fell pregnant in September 2020 and birthed a starseed child. In this very different culture to my own, I realised I had one option to give him the best life possible; to share with ‘my son’ the simple appreciation for the existence he came here to live.

Over a 13-year period of world travels and pre-conceived agreements to bring me to be ready for him, I had deprogrammed a lot of old belief systems and patterns that had been embodied in me by the way I was raised. I had massive self-discoveries and a deep awareness of the regulated global system we live in and the corruption that it all holds. I did not realise I was about to be stripped and unearthed into a whole new way of being.

As Kailan Tao (meaning: ‘The almighty warrior leading the way’) entered this world, I was given information download from the divine that I would be healing the mother wound and be set free, a greater awakening than I ever could have realised. I felt throughout my pregnancy, our journey would be different. It already was: we had chosen each other to fulfil a great purpose, outside of the ordinary.

I have thus far been put through innate challenges, almost unbearable as a human, a mother, a woman, a girl. I was clearly being pushed out of the old karmic way, into great experiential realisations of the current matrix system and its collapse. I was ‘forced’ to let go of any control over my entire life at 38 years old, everything I had created and everything I had evolved into. I had to say goodbye to a place I thought to be home, my sanctuary of sentient beings – my animals - and reroute my direction, into a journey of conscious motherhood to this star child.

Moving through and accepting such a great identity shift and, as a single and sole supporting mom, I developed a secure multi-stream financial income career path that allows me complete flexibility to travel, supplies our needs and supports our journey. I am creating a home-schooling lifestyle that enables Kalian’s education with life experience out of the classroom. Unvaccinated, and un-programmed.

So far, we have spent time together in four different countries within the two years of his life. We have explored ranges of geography, nature, earth, animals, dance, yoga, literature, chant, creative play and more. Anything which his calls his interests.

Kailan has shown a high intelligence, far ahead of his two years, which is becoming apparent in the most fascinating ways. He shares a special connection with everyone he meets, looking with great observation into them at a soul level, aware, awake and of pure sacred consciousness. Kailan is also fascinated with crystals, oracle colour and earthly delights.

With this bilingual Spanish/ English baby beside me, we walk a free path. Currently we find ourselves buried in our Australian roots, embodying everything I have learnt over 13 years of multidimensional and human travel, to walk with, here on this land. Against the odds, yet none the less, finding our way. Each now moment understanding that, as beautiful as it is, standing up for this truth against the way of the generations before, is more challenging than it reads.

Over the course of this journey, I have continuously asked myself why TRUST is so important. I have discovered that TRUST is fundamental to having any chance of living a carefree life, a life of wander and exploration. We must trust in the children to do and try new things, allow them to see a trusting parents’ actions mirror their words or, and most profoundly, trust that the world is an awesome place, so they will develop this in themselves and those around them.

Starseed children are highly evolved souls, who are here to create a new and highly conscious way of living and it begins with you, as their parent. Starseed children challenge you, your rules and expectations, as they see beyond the limitations of current belief systems. They are empathic, intuitive and wise in non-traditional ways. Your child’s soul chose you for a reason and this can help activate your conscious evolution.

There is a constant self-dissecting and self-realisations to break old patterns, which were learned from our own parents and beyond. A whole lot of healing. As women, our role in our children’s lives is more important than we think. A royal woman recognizes that she has authority over fear. She is empowered to pursue healing, knowing her child will benefit from her femininity perfected. Speaking as woman for maternal/paternal equality, she models reconciliation with the self to prepare her child for his/her own journey into wellness.

Did you know that by age five, our children are already making mental rotations and finding stimulation by chasing moving objects? So, I promise you, he or she is watching you. Now, what do you want to show your child? We all have this choice.

Our children are not here to fulfil our expectations, or that of society. It is a new way, a new Earth and they are the new generation. So, let our kids figure out their play for themselves. Let them be bored. Let them be excited and emotional. Let them be kids. They will sort it all out soon enough! Allow them to guide you and allow yourself the parenting of your dreams, the childlike play and schooling you could only chase in your imagination.

Their natural abilities with imagination will lead them. Home-schooling is free schooling and offers so much experiment, liberation and variation. Did you know home-schooled children have ample opportunities for engagement and socialisation simply by being involved in various learning and other community groups, participating in home-schooling co-ops and/or travel? There are so many options, so much freedom in taking this approach. Collectively there are many families evolving, creating this new way - returning to roots and source, living with intention naturally.

The difference between traditional parenting versus conscious parenting is the difference between control and connection.

One seeks to impose, the other seeks to understand. One seeks to discipline, the other seeks to communicate. One seeks to hold on, the other seeks to let go.

If you feel you have fears around your child being their own person, going their own way or choosing their own set of beliefs, you may be stuck in traditional parenting loops that say, “Your child is YOURS.”

To break free from that loop you must recognize that your child’s connection to you is just an illusion and you are simply a witness.

“A time will come when the earth and all of life will need our help. At this time a tribe will gather from all cultures of the world. They will be recognized by their spirit connection and life-giving actions toward the finned, the winged, the creeping crawling, the standing green growing, the four legged, two legged nations and all that is. They will awaken humankind to find a star inside themselves. This star will guide them to overcome the mountains of ignorance, prejudice, hatred, and fear through compassion harmony and honor. They will find a new song and a new dream. The beautiful bow that hangs is the sky after a storm is a monument to these ones.
