Who or What - Starseed Children?

Starseed is a person who is spiritually aware, having a strong connection to the divine creator. Starseeds are said to be old souls sent to Earth to transform the world into the heaven on earth after the end of times as predicted by many cultures and belief systems!
In the 1970s parapsychologist and psychic Nancy Ann Tapp introduced the concept of Indigo children, which referred to those she considered had special or unusual abilities. She had observed these children from the 1960s in her work and was concerned that these highly intelligent, yet often dyslexic and artistic children were being branded as having ADD or ADHD. In most cases they would be prescribed Ritalin to manage their ‘symptoms’.
She explained that Indigos are unlike any child she had observed before as they do not respond to regular discipline; they question and challenge everything. They treat adults as equals and are empathic, curious and strong-willed with exceptional creativity and passion. They displayed a new and unusual set of psychological attributes, revealing a pattern of previously undocumented behaviour. These factors called for parents and teachers to change their treatment and upbringing of these unique individuals. Quite a challenge to the rigid systems of the time!
An opposing view held by Professor of Philosophy and skeptic, Robert Todd Carroll, was that many of those upholding the Indigo phenomenon were not medically qualified and in his opinion, parents would prefer to identify their child as an Indigo rather than a diagnosis that implied poor or narcisstic parenting, damage or mental illness.
As the planet changes occur, the Starseeds will bring forward new and innovative technologies from their experiences in other star systems. For those not au fait with the fast-moving technological world, it appears that this is happening already. Apparently, Elon Musk is making inroads into developing hologram technology, communication is at the easiest it has ever been and none of this was really on the radar in the 1970’s when the Indigos first made their presence felt.
The Starseeds’ deep knowledge and understanding of vibrations through colour and sound that has impacted some of the amazing capabilities of surgery and the devices available now to those that lose limbs or speech. In fact the amazing inventions and capacity of industry, medicine and other mainstream organisations are due to the acceptance of this ‘new’ knowledge: knowledge that has always been there in the knowing of the ancients.
The Starseeds are helping us to remember what innately we know and this is the change they bring. Step by step they challenge us to rethink, to feel what is inside us, rather than apply what has been to new situations expecting conformity and the sense of comfort in the ‘normal’.
Therefore, it is important that these special souls are allowed to fly, to be themselves and not to be inhibited by the parental and social rules that can only lead to uniform sameness. All that any soul in human form requires at this time is love and acceptance from an open mind and heart; love without judgement or fear and to embrace the exciting ride of what we are experiencing.
As Ms Tapp’s concept took a foothold, certainly in the spiritually aware community, some believed these children were souls most likely to have originated from incarnations in the Pleiades. They felt the Indigo’s purpose on Earth was to help the world evolve towards enlightenment and clean up all that was in opposition to the universal order. This belief gained traction and by the 1990s several books and films has been written and produced on the subject.
The study of the Indigo child was furthered by economics major Lee Carroll and Jan Tobin initially in their international best seller Indigo Children published in 2004. It documents the progression of Indigo development over the years and proved to be an essential guide for the parents of these unusually bright and active children.
According to Tober and Carroll, Indigo children may function poorly in conventional schools due to their rejection of rigid authority, their being smarter or more spiritually mature than their teachers and their lack of response to guilt, fear or manipulation-based discipline. They followed up in 2009 with publishing Indigo Children: 10 Years Later.
Following on from her book, Caring and feeding Indigo Children, Doreen Virtue published The Crystal Children in 2003, reporting on a new wave of humanity said to have begun in the late 1990s through the first decade of the 2000s. Interestingly, many of the Crystals are born to Indigo parents as they are more likely to understand and support them.
While Indigos are here to pave a new way and break-down outdated rules and institutions, the Crystal children are here to develop and create new ways of living. They also act as the bridge between the old and new ways, easing the transition.
The mission of Crystal children is unity; to bring people together through love, expression through the arts, and communication. Like the Indigos, they see all people as equals, irrespective of their differences. They are empathetic, with the ability to see beyond the surface into the depths of another’s feelings. Along with this ability comes their deep resistance to negativity, lying and manipulation.
Some believe that Crystals are also here to raise the vibration of this planet through the energy grids, which allow them to communicate with all humanity on earth.
Crystals have a strong connection to nature, are fearless, forgiving, and imaginative and have the abilities that allow them to see and feel far beyond the senses of a typical person. They often have healing abilities especially with the natural world. These highly sensitive children are both powerful yet vulnerable. Deep within them is the desire and need for peace and harmony, so they struggle with negativity and anger around them and are often sensitive to processed foods, chemical and medication.
Rainbow children are the third generation of Starseeds that have come to help humanity evolve. It is believed that they are born from the ninth dimension of consciousness, the dimension of collective consciousness. Those that study spirituality and metaphysics believe that Rainbows have never been on Earth before; therefore they hold no Karma to balance.
They have arrived here over the last twenty years and are highly gifted, spreading love and joy around them. Their hearts are forgiving and they are born to smile, shaking off any negativity around them very quickly. They seem to be picky with food and often reject processed or ‘unnatural’ food types.
As the Crystal children grow older, they become the peace-loving parents that birth the Rainbow children. They can understand their high energy, strong will and expectation of instancy to a level that they almost appear to have no time to wait. This expectation comes from Rainbow’s innate understanding of the manifestation process, which the majority of humanity still struggle to attain. They have no concept of lack; it simply is not in their makeup.
As the name implies, Rainbows love bright colours and respond to the colours around them with creativity and enthusiasm. They never stop; they just keep that energy going. In fact, they are so enthusiastic about everything in life that it can be a little exhausting to be around them.
So what does all this mean? When we cast our mind back to our own childhood, we can see the difference between our experiences and the changes that have come about as a result of the Starseeds appearing on this planet. Many of the older generations that were brought up with “Don’t do as I do. Do as I say” type of parenting may find the idea of discussions with a small child over what they want to eat or wear, is difficult. When did ‘No’ go out of fashion, one wonders?
However, when we take a look at this changing world with so much that is not working being highlighted, we can see it is necessary for the changes to come that have been predicted for eons by every spiritual text or ancient culture. Is it a coincidence or are we the lucky ones that have chosen to be on this planet at this time to observe and hold the space for the Starseeds?
Look at the children around you and I am certain we each will find the characteristics of a Starseed there, within at least one of them. We are incredibly privileged to witness and be part of ushering in the real new age, probably aided by the young members of our own family.
