C-GCC’s College-in-the-High School Program Continues Online The College-in-the-High School (dual enrollment) program at C-GCC, providing area students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, returns this summer with online sessions beginning Monday, July 6. Academically eligible high school students may enroll now in online college courses at one-third the regular cost per credit, including classes in economics, psychology, sociology, health and safety, and more. C-GCC’s College-in-the-High School program has adopted the standards established by the
National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), a nationwide organization with an established set of programmatic standards indicative of quality concurrent enrollment programs. To apply, e-mail Kevin Kropp, assistant director of Admissions, at kevin.kropp@sunycgcc.edu. For additional program information, e-mail Dawn-Marie Blasl, director of the College-in-the-High School program, at dawnmarie.blasl@sunycgcc.edu.
More than a dozen online college courses are available to academically eligible high school students, who may enroll at one-third of the regular cost-per-credit.
