• A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT DRUMMER Greetings! Since its founding more than 50 years ago, ColumbiaGreene Community College has been meeting the educational needs for residents of all ages in the Twin Counties. Building community is what we do – C-GCC has enabled countless students to continue learning during times of uncertainty, most recently the great recession of 2008. Although the past several months have brought into clear focus how quickly life can change, the mission of the College remains the same: to provide the best education possible for those embarking in new career directions or seeking personal enrichment. Learning does not pause, even during a global pandemic. In the past several months, CoGreene has responded to the “new normal” by providing new learning options for students in both credit and noncredit programs. To that end, C-GCC is proud to announce a partnership with ed2go, one of the nation’s leading providers of remote career education (read more on this page). Plus, Black Rocket Camps – a familiar presence on campus – will continue to offer children’s activities remotely that foster innate creativity and stimulate innovative thinking (see page 3). Let’s keep the learning momentum going this summer – and Let’s Go, #CoGreene!
