Pag Bay Criuse PAG BAY CRUISE
One-day Pag bay cruise. Sail on the footsteps of the sunken roman city of Cissa, swimming on sand beaches and swimming inside a cave.
ITINERARY: The excursion starts on the main quay of the town of Pag. While enjoying your welcome drink the boat will take you to the sunken Roman town of Cissa (2nd c. A.C.) and the beach of the same name to enjoy swimming and relaxing. Lunch is served in a small fishing village of Metajna. Drinks (water, wine and juices) are available the whole day. Our next stop is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Pag bay, Beritnica, a perfect spot for swimming. Our last stop is the Cave. The boat will moor safely along the coast and you will have a chance to visit some hundred meters long cave, accompanied by a member of the crew. The first part is passed through on foot after which you gradually enter the sea and swim to the exit. On our way back the boat will cruise in the immediate vicinity of the Maškalić rock and the beaches Veliki and Mali Zaton, and slowly on to the town of Pag where the excursion finishes. Cissa part y CISSA PARTY
A trip in the Pag bay with swimming on numerous sand and pebble beaches. With music and drinks, a story of the sunken Cissa and an adventure in a cave, fill in the summer on Zrće with a ship party.
ItInerary: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred by shuttle buses to the Katarelac beach. Then from bar Noa follows embarking to the boat. After getting on board, the boat will take you to the sunken Roman town of Cissa (2nd c. A.C.) where the Sunturist guide will tell you the story of Cissa. You will have a chance to enjoy a swim on the abovementioned beach as well as on another sandy beach in the bay. Lunch and drinks are served on board. Drinks (wine, sangria, schnapps, water and juices) are available throughout the day free of charege. The clients will get a voucher for a coctail at the bar Noa. It can be used at any time during their stay on Zrće. A party on the boat will be completed by a Dj. Our next stop is the Cave in the Pag bay where you may take a swim inside the cave, accompanied by one of the crew members. Our last stop for swimming is the Beritnica beach, accessible only by boat. Canoe safari CANOE SAFARI
Kayaking down the river Zrmanja with an expert guide and a skipper. Enjoy a beautiful landscape with fascinating waterfalls and swim underneath them.
ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred to Kaštel Žegarski by tourist buses. Kayaking tour (changing, instructions and boarding) starts at 9:30. The first part of the tour to the mouth of the river Krupa lasts an hour and three quarters; the visit, swimming and picnic on the Krupa waterfalls last another hour and a half; and allow for another two hours to kayak down the river Zrmanja to Muškovci. It makes a total of three hours to kayak down the river and an hour and a half for occasional breaks and swimming. Kayaking is not fatiguing or dangerous, the water is clear and warm during the summer months, which makes it a perfect adventure for beginners. We plan to return to Novalja at 18:00. KAYAKS AND EQUIPMENT You will be provided sit-on-top kayaks for two adults and an extra seat for a child up to the age of 12. Each kayak is equipped with a 25-litre waterproof container (for the camera, documents, dry clothes, food...). Each participant will be provided a paddle, a life jacket, a kayaking helmet, whereas long neoprene wetsuits and rain jackets are used in case of cold or windy weather. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT Make sure to bring a shirt, a swimsuit or swimming trunks, a towel, extra socks, water sandals or shoes, and in case of cold weather a long-sleeved shirt (preferably made of synthetics). If you are wearing glasses make sure you secure them with a glasses string. The organizer of the excursion is not responsible for lost, damaged or missing possessions.

Kayaking Mreznica KAYAKING MRE@NICA
The untouched natural beauty of the scarlet green river of Mrežnica with about ten waterfalls is a perfect place for a kayak ride: TOUR ITINERARY: In order to reach the upper canyon of Mrežnica between Primišalj and Tržić, the most beautiful part of the river, a real wilderness, you have to put some effort. The starting point is upstream from a mill and a bridge near Tržić on the road between Slunj and Tounje. After overcoming smaller waterfalls and rapids you reach waterfalls in canyon with steep cliffs on which the sun shines only a few hours a day, around noon. Despite that, the water in summer is warm and excellent for bathing. We go on to the highest waterfalls of Mrežnica (up to 8m), a magical place for bathing and a picnic. A return along the canyon and waterfalls is foreseen for the afternoon. Activities: Professional sit-on-top kayaks which are simply controlled and easy to use. You will get all the equipment: a helmet, a vest, a paddle, and neoprene suit and a raincoat in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (cameras, drinks, etc.). Do not forget to take shorts or a swim suit, a T-shirt, spare socks and sandals (or sport shoes), a towel, a sun cream and water, as well as a picnic. Requirements: Previous rowing experience is not necessary. Children aged 8 or older can participate if accompanied by parents.

Rafting Cetina RAFTING CETINA
Discover the unknown Dalmatia – green river, magnificent canyon, dense forests, waterfalls, mysterious caves and fabulous watermills. You can swim in the clean, warm water, go across the refreshing waves, take a shower under the waterfalls, drink spring water, jump off the rocks and explore caves. ITINERARY: The tour starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred to the village of Penšići by tourist bus. The rafting tour (instructions and safety measures) starts at 11:00. (The tour is easy: class 1 – 3 whitewaters. Rafting on the river Cetina includes exciting rapids of fancy names: the green labyrinth, rock’n’roll slalom, the green tunnel... Previous rafting experience not required. Swimming ability essential. Children over the age of 8 accompanied by parents may participate.) Una rafting RAFTING UNA
A singing appearance of the bank and a game of waterfalls and noises are a result of a live, longlasting and rare biochemical process of the creation which has brought to life the river with the deepest source of sweet water in the world – over 200m. Rafting on the Una river is an unforgettable experience. Experience the connection of adrenaline and pleasure in the untouched nature on a unique river which the old Romans, seeing its picturesque beauty, called the “Unique“. ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred to Donji Lapac by tourist bus. Then you will be transferred by vans to Štrbački Buk, a 22-metre-high waterfall, one of the highest and the most beautiful in this part of Europe. The rafting tour (instructions and boarding) starts at the foot of the waterfall followed by several smaller falls making the tour exciting at the very beginning. (In some parts the canyon is over 300m deep, it is a class 4 – 5 river which makes it the only whitewater in Croatia of that class. In summer months the water level is a bit lower which makes it perfect for tourists and recreationists. Children over the age of 12 may also participate.) The rafting tour lasts between two and a half and three hours with a short break in Crno Vrelo and visits to the caves situated along the river. St and up paddling STAND UP PADDLING
A new recreational sport ideal for all ages and all sports and non sports persons. The only thing required is to gain balance. TOUR ITINERARY: This sport involves a board, wider than a sur oard, that you stand on and once you have gained balance, you are given an oar and you paddle standing up. The path starts in Obrovac where the river continues its way through a canyon full of vegetation typical for karst. In the vast area of rocks and water, you are embraced by the imposing cliffs where griffon vultures and the Odyssey’s cave coexist, as well as the remains of old settlements which the local inhabitants call the ancient Šibenik. The excursion lasts for approximately 3 hours. At the end of the excursion, you enter a boat, the boards are tied to the boat and dragged upstream to Obrovac.

Diving DIVING
Collage of flora, fauna and crystal clear sea. Dive into the picturesque submarine world full of unusual rocks, reefs and small caves with your friends or an instructor and experience an unforgettable adventure. PROGRAM OF THE ACTIVITY: The trip and departure to the diving destination start at the town quay (riva) in Pag at 09.00 with the wooden boat „Nyroca“ with the merry captain and crew. Depending on the diving site the trip lasts from 30 to 55 minutes and goes by very quickly in preparing the diving equipment. The anchoring and briefing are followed by an entrance into the magnificent underwater of the island of Pag which abounds in the beauties of underwater caves, rocks and reefs up to a 60 m depth. Maškolica, Mrkuše, Veli and Mali zaton, Small and big cave are ideal places for beginners and Sveti Krištofer, Sika, Špica and the Šestakovci rocks are for a bit more experienced divers. After the first dive, a small break on board follows, then a rest and the preparations for the second dive. During the break in which one can enjoy swimming, the instructor makes the divers familiar with the beauties of the underwater. The return is foreseen between 16.00 and 17.00. (The passenger capacity depends on the vessel: the wooden boat „Nyroca“, 12 m long: 12 passengers, speedboats: 12 passengers and 10 passengers) Note: The required diving equipment will be completed in the diving centre depending on the size the person wears. KORNATI I Kornati
National park situated in the central part of the Croatian Adriatic. Consists of a network of special Islands and rocks of exceptional landscape beauty, interesting geomorphology, well-indented coast with exceptionally rich plant and animal submarine world. ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred to Borik Marina in Zadar by tourist bus. Upon getting on the boat you will be served breakfast and the boat will cruise through the beautiful Kornati archipelago. (The Kornati archipelago consists of 150 islands and islets, of which 96 make part of the national park. There are only few people who have not heard of this piece of paradise since it was declared the national park in 1980). After the visit we will make a stop on the islet of Lavdar where we will take a two-hour break to have a swim and enjoy leisure activities. After the break you will be served lunch on board and the boat will continue the cruise to Zadar. Europa Boat EUROPA BOAT
One-day trip, sightseeing, swimming on numerous beaches and entertainment on one of the Kvarner bay islands of the Croatian Adriatic Sea, Rab, Lošinj, Olib or Silba.
ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja, in front of the hotel “Loža”. The excursions to Rab take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. After a two-hour cruise you will take a guided tour of the town and have free time for lunch and swimming. The excursions to Olib and Silba take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Zrmanja by boat ZRMANJA BY BOAT
By its strength and force of its tributaries Zrmanja has been breaking its way towards the sea for thousands of years. Experience true beauties of the European Grand Canyon in a pleasant boat ride. TOUR ITINERARY: The Zrmanja tour starts in Obrovac where the river continues to flow through the canyon full of vegetation characteristic for carst. Right before the town itself, on the right bank there is the town’s cemetery built on the remains of a Benedictine monastery, and further on the chapel of St. Nicholas which is on the left bank of the river and testifies the importance of the river Zrmanja as a channel through a number of centuries. The river continues further on through the ever deeper and ever wider canyon with vegetation that becomes sparser, and seemingly cruel steep cliffs take over the canyon. In that immense vastness of rock and water, only a keen eye will notice a lonely cliff with a small stone building, the so called „Pržunac“ which, according to historical findings, was the last prison of the Croatian queen Jelena which confirms the strategic importance of the River Zrmanja and its canyon in the history of this area. At the end of the canyon and the delta of this karstic beauty into the sea, we are embraced by the impressive cliffs where within just a few meters space coexist the griffon vultures and the Odysseus’ Cave as well as the remains of the ancient settlements which the local inhabitants call the ancient Šibenik. Natural and karst phenomenon with an ethno village awarded a Golden flower of Europe. An encounter with beautiful, untouched nature. A walk along numerous paths and small bridges with a magical murmur of waterfalls. AROUND THE NP KRKA BY BIKE Breathe in a part of Croatian history, around the National Park Krka by bike.
There is hardly a better way to get to know the area of the National Park Krka than by a bike ride. This bike tour takes you through history enjoying the landscape of forests and hills and monuments TOUR ITINERARY: A boat will take you to the isle of Visovac and a Franciscan monastery.
After the tour of the monastery and a museum, the boat returns to the shore, and the tour continues to Skradin along the beautiful downhill ride with a picturesque view of the Prokljansko Lake. NP Sjeverni Velebit NP NORTHERN VELEBIT
Unique biological diversity and beautiful nature with a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea and the islands.
ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred to the National Park Northern Velebit by tourist bus with a guide. This mountain adventure takes place along the Premužić Path, one of the most beautiful paths on Velebit. (Velebit is famous for its incredible bio-diversity, richness of woods, canyons, rocks, caves that fill visitors with enthusiasm. It is a home to one of the Croatian most famous endemic species, Velebitska Degenija. Due to its magnificence it is considered a Croatian national symbol and as such is the topic of numerous poems, tales and legends. It is of elongated form with steep sides.) You will come across several belvederes overlooking the Zadar archipelago. The path does not have steep ascents and is perfect for a pleasant hiking tour. NP Paklenica NP PAKLENICA
Characteristical canyons cut into the southern slopes of Velebit. Abundance of geomorphologic visions and forms, diverse plant and animal life, attractive landscapes and untouched nature. ITINERARY: The excursion starts in Novalja from where you will be transferred by tourist bus with a guide to the National Park Paklenica, one of the most attractive hiking destinations in Croatia. (The name Paklenica originates from the black pine sap called ”Paklina“, used by the natives in traditional medicine, to treat wounds, for illumination and surface treatment of wooden boats.) Hiking along the spectacular canyons cut into the southern slopes of Velebit is the only way to really get to know Paklenica. Note: Make sure to bring a suntan lotion, sandwiches and water. Caves of Cerovac CAVES OF CEROVAC
Velebit is extremely rich in speleological structures, but is still not sufficiently explored. It hosts hundreds of deep pits and caves (Lukina jama, Mamet, Manita peć, Kusa 1, Kusa 2, Čulinka, Čavlinka, Odisejeva spilja and Kraljica Bukovice). However the most significant and most known are the Cerovac Caves located on the southern part of the Nature Park “Velebit”. TOUR ITINERARY: The Cerovac Caves are the largest cave complex in Croatia. They were discovered during the construction of the railroad from Gračac towards Cerovac, the first small station towards Knin. The caves were named after this station. The Upper Cave is 1200 m long, and the Lower Cave 2400 m. There is a significantly smaller one between them, the Middle Cave. They are mostly accessible for visit, and are extreme rich in cave decorations. They are also one of the largest habitats of cave bear in Croatia. Human bones and a bronze axe that belonged to a Pleistocene cave bear hunter were found in them as well. Due to their unique natural beauty and numerous findings form the ancient past, Cerovac Caves were protected by law as a geological nature monument in 1961. A tour of one cave with a professional guide lasts for approximately 1.5 h.

Its rich and flavourful taste is a result of the island’s stone and salt, medicinal and aromatic herbs as well as of the tradition of the island of Pag.
Boškinac Wine Road Wine-growing tradition and mild Mediterranean climate have contributed to the development of flavourful autochtonous wine varieties and wine distillates infused with medicianal herbs. TOUR ITINERARY: The tour starts in Novalja in the morning from where you will be transferred to Kolan. You will then be taken for a guided tour of the cheese diary, where you will be told about the technology and process of cheese making and have a chance to taste Pag Cheese. After cheese tasting we head toward Lun to take a walk through the Botanical Reserve and learn about the history of olives and their importance today. The tour continues by visiting the Boškinac Hotel to enjoy wine tasting and learn about different sorts of grapes, vineyard cultivation, and how grapevines are grown and cared for. Relax and have fun in a pleasant atmosphere of a homestead Mićanovi dvori where in an autochthonous environment you can enjoy selected dishes of exclusively Croatian cuisine prepared in a traditional way or participate in cheese and wine tasting. TOUR ITINERARY: The departure is organised by bus at 15:45 h from the roundabout in Novalja. At the arrival at the homestead Mićanovi dvori guests are served a welcome drink followed by a tour of the tavern and a typical house of Bukovac accompanied by the story of the farm, description of the micro region, traditional crafts and trades and natural landmarks of the area with a special accent on the traditions. What follows is a “Village Olympics”; this activity is especially interesting for all those who wish to have fun and laugh with light activities. The Village Olympics consists of old traditional sports: throwing a rock from a shoulder, pulling a rope, throwing a horse shoe and jumping in sacks. When the Village Olympics is finished, there is a short performance of the Cultural Artistic Society Zrmanja which in a 30-minute show describes the people and traditions of this area at the “guvno” which is located within the homestead. It is followed by a traditional feast of Bukovac. Within the homestead there is a tavern with a fireplace with 60 seating places and the house of Bukovac which is decorated in a traditional style with two open fireplaces and which has 220 seating places. Next to the tavern on the homestead surrounded by the untouched nature there is also a terrace with 250 seating places. GAMES: Total Elimination The game Total Elimination is played by two teams with the same objective – to eliminate all opponents with minimum losses on its own side. The teams are distinguished by different coloured markers. The winning team is the team which remains in the field with one or more players. Capture the Flag The game „Capture the Flag“ is played by two teams. Each team has the objective to capture the flag which is in the opposing team’s base and to bring it back to the base. In order to capture the opposing team’s flag each team has to implement an agreed strategy in a dynamic and competitive environment as successful as possible. The winning team is that team which first takes the opposing team’s flag and brings it back to its own base. Attack and Defence The game „Attack and Defence“ is played by two teams. The defending team is set on a limited, bordered area with the flag. The defending team is not allowed to leave its designated area and the attacking team may approach from any position in the field. The eliminated players are not allowed to reveal by means of gestures or speech the intentions or positions of the opposing team. The attacking team takes the victory the moment the flag is grabbed and the defending team when the attacking team is prevented from taking it. SAFETY: The players wear a safety, specially designed mask which protects them from a possible ball stroke. Paintball is a safe sport when played by the rules and since the players don’t have physical contact the risk of possible injuries is very small.

Bungee jumping BUNGEE JUMPING
Defy the gravity, jump of the Maslenica bridge and defeat the fear on the Croatian largest bungee jumping.
ITINERARY: You will jump off the old 56-metre-high Maslenica Bridge and stop only cca 5 metres from the sea surface. The jumps are suitable for persons weighing 40 to 130 kg. Under the bridge there is a dinghy transferring clients to the coast. It takes between 10 and 15 minutes for each jump. Working hours: from 14:00 till 20:00 Note: Jumping may be organized outside ordinary hours, which includes night jumps of the illuminated bridge.
