Materialien Schirm | Shade materials Lunopal / Lunolit Lunopal und Lunolit sind hochwertige Schirmmaterialien, die von DOMUS entwickelt wurden. Sie sind thermisch hoch belastbar und halten Temperaturen bis zu 100°C aus. Die Grundstoffe der Materialien sind selbstverlöschend klassifiziert (Klasse K2/ F1 nach DIN 53438). Lunopal ist weiß transparent und vermittelt den Eindruck feinen japanischen Papiers. Es besteht aus verpressten Polycarbonatfasern, aus denen hochwertige Leuchtenabdeckungen hergestellt werden. Das vollkommen umweltfreundliche Material ist UV-beständig und vergilbt nicht. Insbesondere im Objektbereich hat sich Lunopal vielfach bewährt. Lunolit unterscheidet sich von Lunopal nur durch seine Festigkeit, nicht in seiner Qualität. Lunolit weist eine höhere Stabilität als Lunopal auf. Lunopal and Lunolit are high performance shade materials developed by DOMUS. They are remarkably heat-resistant and able to withstand temperatures of up to 100°C. They are classified as self-extinguishing (class K2/F1 acc. to DIN 53438). Lunopal is transparent and has the appearance of fine Japanese paper. It consists of compressed polycarbonate fibres, which are used for high quality lighting fixtures. The completely environment-friendly material is unaffected by U.V. radiation and will not fade or get yellowed. Especially for architectural purposes Lunopal has proved its quality. Lunolit only differs from Lunopal in stability not in quality. Lunolit shows a higher stability than Lunopal.

Opalit Opalit ist ein robustes und unempfindliches Glas, das in der sogenannten FusingTechnologie hergestellt wird. Dabei wird die Rückseite mit einer speziellen Emaille glasur beschichtet und diese anschließend bei über 900°C eingebrannt. Eine besondere Glasmischung zaubert ein weiches und warmes Licht. Opalit is a robust, insensitive type of glass, produced using the so-called fusing technology. The back is coated with a special enamel glaze which is subsequently burned in at temperatures exceeding 900°C. A special glass compound creates a soft and warm light.

Creanit Creanit ist ein mit einem reinem Acryl (Plexiglas) gebundenes Steinmehl. Es ist überaus schlag fest und leicht zu reinigen. Das Material wird von DOMUS in einem speziellen Verfahren drei dimensional verformt. Creanit kann nur bei den von uns explizit angebotenen Leuchten verwendet werden. Creanit is a stone dust bonded with pure acrylic glass (plexiglass). It is highly shock resistant and easy to clean. In a special process, the material is three-dimensionally formed. Creanit can only be used for the lamps explicitly offered by DOMUS.
