Sunriver Police to host Coffee with a Cop On Nov. 29, officers from the Sunriver Police Department and community members will come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee. All community members are invited to attend. The event begins at 8 a.m. at Hot Lava Bakery in The Village at Sunriver (57100 Beaver Drive, building 17). Coffee and donuts provided by Hot Lava. Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in the Sunriver neighborhood. The opportunity also allows for relationship building and interaction with local businesses. The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies or emotional situations.
