atrick Marsh is a nature preserve open to the public on the east side of Sun Prairie south of Highway 151. The preserve includes 320 acres of land owned by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Natural Heritage Land Trust, and Dane County. Walking around the marsh and observing the variety of birds and other wildlife is a favorite pastime of many visitors to the marsh. The marsh is also an outdoor laboratory for students from Patrick Marsh Middle school and elsewhere.
