Galgotias University 2019 Convocation - 2,500 Graduates Were Conferred Degrees Galgotias University was founded by Suneel Galgotia, Chancellor of the university. The university is spread over 52 acres of land in Greater Noida. It has several state-of-the-art facilities available within its campus for its students to utilize them (180+ labs, library, etc.). They focus on the low student-to-faculty ratio so that they can easily mentors the students and provide personal care and attention. Recently, 4th Annual convocation of Galgotias University took place wherein more than 2500 graduates were conferred degrees this year. The Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney was the chief guest. Apart from him, Suneel Galgotia, Chancellor, Dhruv Galgotia, CEO, Renu Luthra, Vice-Chancellor and Tanzanian Ambassador were present at the dice. First of all, the academic procession arrived at the venue and took their respective seats provided both on the stage as well as in the front rows. They started with the lighting of the lamp. After the lighting of the lamp, the students of the university sung Saraswathi Vandana. The chief guest presented the gold medals to 54 graduates and silver medals for 37 students. Mr. Suneel Galgotia in his welcome address said that he is proud of his students who have excelled due to their hard work. He further said that it is their day of celebration and now they are ready to face the challenges of the world. The Chief Guest in his address congratulated Mr. Suneel Galgotia, Chancellor of the Galgotias University for the graduation of 2534 students within 8 years of the existence of the University. He said it is a big milestone achieved by them. He also explained to the students about the latest developments in the digital world, opportunities available in the field and how to harness the benefits for themselves. Renu Luthra, Vice-Chancellor presented the annual address. During her address, she also said that the results of the students who have graduated; are uploaded in the Government of India National Academic Depositary website. Based on that, Aadhaar card was also printed on their degree certificates. The program was concluded with Mr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the Galgotias University’s vote of thanks. All the students looked stunning with their customary convocation gowns and hats. They were also beaming with smiles and pride was seen in their eyes. They were simply stunning and were ready to conquer the world. Several photographs were taken to immortalize their big day in their customary gowns and hats. All these shows Galgotias University is one of the best educational institutions in India providing a world-class education to its students studying in more than 100 undergraduates and postgraduates courses. These students are being taught by 100+ distinguished faculties from
various top institutions. They have so far submitted more than 20 lakhs of research projects. All these have helped the university to achieve this great feat. Their Chancellor and CEO are also the major motivational force behind the success of the students.
