Christian Character Recipients and Student of the Year Announced
Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to recognize students who consistently exhibit exceptional Christian character through the Christian Character Award program. The purpose of this award is to encourage students to pursue their potential toward attaining the highest level of personal and academic development as well as Christian character. The achievement of the Christian Character Award at SCA is one of the most prestigious recognitions within the school. Elementary Christian Character recipients for the third quarter are third grade student Ellie Hawes and sixth grade student Jackson Shrum. Recipients for the fourth quarter are first grade student Eloise Parker and sixth grade student Rylie Friess. Junior high Christian Character recipients for the second semester are seventh grade student Aidan Cummings and eighth grade student Emma Coats. Senior high Christian Character recipients for the second semester are seniors Grace Filer, Camille Anderson, and Tyler Simpson, Senior Ryan Wagy was named 2020-21 Student of the Year. Ryan graduated Cum Laude, Outstanding Choir Student, Debate Academic All-American, and Football Academic All-State.
