BIOS Shannon Blanchet Ensemble
Shannon is chuffed to be back with Catalyst as a member of this great company. She was last seen as a member of the original Off-Broadway cast of Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe. An Artistic Associate with Teatro la Quindicina and member of the ensemble of Die Nasty: The Live Improvised Soap Opera, you can catch her most Monday nights making stuff up on the Varscona stage for laughs. Other credits include Whiplash Weekend (Teatro La Quindicina); A Picasso (Chorus Productions); 9 to 5: The Musical (Mayfield Dinner Theatre); Von Mitterbrink’s Second (ACME Theatre); The Adulteress (Teatro La Quindicina); Shatter (The Maggie Tree); and LoveHateKill (Pony Productions). When not treading the boards, Shannon enjoys contributing to storytelling in other roles, most recently as an Associate Producer of Voice Over at Bioware on their upcoming title Mass Effect Andromeda. An alumnus of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting Program at The University of Alberta, she is currently working as a Voice Coach and guest instructor with the third and fourth year students in the program. She can be seen next in Teatro la Quindicina’s Salon of the Talking Turk this spring. Love and gratitude to Aaron. Enjoy the show!
