BIOS JAMIE WILLIAMS Bob Cratchit
It is with great joy Jamie reprises the role of Bob Cratchit, after such a wonderful experience in last year’s A Christmas Carol. He is a two time participant of the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program, performing the role of Bernard Nightingale in Arcadia, and Friar Laurence in 2014’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Since then, Jamie has performed in Hilda’s Yard (Upper Canada Playhouse) and Real Estate (Port Stanley Festival Theatre). Earlier this year Jamie played John Cummings in Here On The Flightpath, performing opposite his wife, actress Melanie Janzen, for the inaugural season of The Foster Festival. It is a great pleasure to be back at the Citadel and to be involved in this beloved production of A Christmas Carol. The best of the season to all!

Ebenezer Scrooge Tom was last seen on the Citadel stage in the role of James Tyrone in Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Other Citadel credits include: Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, John in Shining City, Martin Dysart in Equus, and Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. For the Citadel he has directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Glass Menagerie, Doubt, The Sound of Music, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Homeward Bound, Metamorphoses and Arcadia. Tom’s writing credits include, ClapTrap, B-Movie and Make Mine Love. He has also adapted for the stage The Three Musketeers, A Christmas Carol, Servant of Two Masters, Vanya, Peter Pan and Pride and Prejudice. Later this season, the Citadel will present Sense and Sensibility, the world premiere of Tom’s adaptation of the Jane11:38 Austen Eurasia_Citadel-2016.pdf 1 2016-09-30 AM classic.
