SLOPESIDE LIVING WITH A VERMONT ACCENT

It’s not a vacation. It’s a lifestyle.

An unmistakably authentic atmosphere. A genuine Vermont country setting. A local spirit that reflects the diversity of the characters who live here – farmers, artisans, adventurers, you name it. These are the things that draw people to Sugarbush. And the same holds true for those who choose to live here. The Sugarbush Living properties – Clay Brook and Rice Brook – deliver a world-class ownership experience, located a stone’s throw from the slopes and nestled into the Mad River Valley just as naturally as the mountains that surround it. Of course, those who know our properties firsthand see them as something far simpler. Home.

Building on the past. Literally. While the Green Mountains themselves have changed very little over the past few million years, the alpine community and infrastructure at Sugarbush continue to evolve and change. And yet, through all the improvements to lift capacity, snowmaking and guest amenities, there remains a simple and powerful thread of consistency. This “tie that binds is a shared belief in the pure enjoyment of an authentic Vermont experience for families and friends, across the generations.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY. CREATING CONNECTIONS. Sugarbush has a long history of continued improvements and responsible growth. Our Master Plan provides us with the framework – thoughtfully outlining each and every step of our plan to continually offer the finest and most comprehensive four-season alpine experience for guests and homeowners. And with our Clay Brook and Rice Brook properties as residential anchors in our community, we are not just looking ahead, we are continuing to move ahead.

Whole ownership at Sugarbush with unmatched slopeside convenience.

These new two- to four-bedroom townhomes and condominiums are steps from the restaurants, shops and lifts at Lincoln Peak and equally close to historic Sugarbush Village. The Rice Brook residences conveniently feature ski-in/ski-out access from the Out to Lunch trail, and all the homes offer inspiring views of the surrounding landscape. Only a handful of whole ownership Rice Brook homes and condominiums remain available for purchase.

vermont luxury, inside and out. If there’s anything that could possibly draw your attention away from the scenery at Sugarbush, this would be it. Clay Brook offers refined, immaculately appointed residences, from studios to five-bedroom homes. But it also offers something more – a level of service and attention that lets you concentrate on what you came for. A concierge at the ready. In-room massage therapists. And valet everything. So you can fill your days with what you love and let us take care of the rest.

We’ll handle the details. You create the memories.

Ownership at Sugarbush opens the door to a world of unique activities, world-class amenities and the local color that defines Vermont. Whether you’re diving feet first into a mountain-fed swimming hole, grabbing an early morning run with the Cabin Cat, enjoying a fireside dinner at Allyn’s Lodge or discovering a foliage hike that seems almost too good to be true, it all adds up to four seasons and countless opportunities to connect with family, friends and the natural world around us.

Growth, the responsible way. We wouldn’t be true to our Vermont roots if we didn’t treat our environment with pure respect. At Rice Brook and Clay Brook, we adhere to sustainable practices that reduce our ecological footprint across everything we do. The same holds true in our approach to development across our entire community – an approach you can see in action everywhere at Sugarbush. In fact, we were awarded the Vermont Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence in 2012. The environment is front and center for us. And it will always be that way.

Past, present and future. In 1969 I received a gift that changed my life. I visited the Mad River Valley for the first time and immediately felt a deep and personal connection to the people and places that define this unique part of Vermont. Years later, I was entrusted with the opportunity to continue to move Sugarbush Resort forward – while still maintaining and celebrating its past. One of our guiding lights in this effort is our Master Plan – our long-term vision for Sugarbush Resort and how it will continually adapt to, and meet the needs of, guests, owners and community members. Recently, we embarked on the next exciting phase of our Master Plan with our Rice Brook properties. Rice Brook is the logical extension of our successful Clay Brook properties. The new Rice Brook residences mark an important step for our long-term vision for Sugarbush. With the addition of these slopeside homes, we are creating a vibrant village at the base of Lincoln Peak that builds on the Sugarbush experience, reflects the character of our great community and benefits the Valley as a whole. Equally important is the connectivity between the new Lincoln Peak Village, the existing base area and historic Sugarbush Village. A number of families have already secured their spots at Rice Brook. I hope you will consider this unique opportunity for you and your family. Cheers,
