that each user-group became more accountable for the wider environmental implications of their activities. This will require a greater commitment to protecting the environment than in the past (from industry, recreational users, adjacent land uses, local and national government etc.) and a less isolated approach to how we all use and abuse the environment. The estuaries of Suffolk are one of our last remaining wildernesses providing a livelihood and enjoyment not only for local people but also many visitors.
