Back in Time

SAT19

Once in a while, a movie comes along that creates a following like no other. Among all the cult films, sagas and trilogies, few compare to ‘80s classic Back to the Future. Celebrating the original film’s 30th anniversary, Back in Time takes a look at the impact the movies have had on our culture. From the iconic DeLorean DMC-12 time machine to Marty McFly’s handy hoverboard, this adoring documentary charts the trilogy’s evolution from its conception to its status as one of cinema’s most beloved treasures. As October 21st 2015 – aka the date Marty, Doc and Jennifer visited in Back to the Future II – approaches, Back in Time serves as a monument to the vastness of the series’ enduring global fandom. Featuring interviews with director Robert Zemeckis, producer Steven Spielberg, stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson, composer Huey Lewis and mega-fans including Dan Harmon (Community, Rick and Morty), this is a must-see for film buffs, children of the ‘80s, and anyone who’s ever wished they had a flux capacitor. We’ve strived to make THE Back to the Future documentary. That, in 20 years, when it’s the 50th anniversary, people are still watching. We want this to become the accompanying piece, the album liner for Back to the Future. Jason Aron, director.
