Milly, Molly & Maisy A tale of Three Kittens
This is a tale of kittens, three, Milly and Molly and Maisy - that’s me!
We were born in a place they call the Ark, Where there are cats and kittens – and dogs that bark!
Not the Ark that Noah built, to escape the flood, But one that cares for animals and is just as good.
Some people don’t care much for dogs and cats; Some people are cruel, and that’s a fact.
Our Mother was homeless, lost and afraid, She was one of the lucky ones brought to the Ark. Where she met other cats and kittens – and dogs that bark!
That’s where our mother gave birth to we three, Milly and Molly and Maisy – that’s me.
But a kind person found her and she was saved.
But what we were waiting and hoping for was ‘That Special Person’ to walk through the door.
We were warm and well fed, and had soft, comfy beds.
We had climbing frames and played chasing games.
We would like them and they would like us, and they’d take us home, in their car or by bus.
